Sir, going through the revision for the ACCA PM Wednesday September 2016,

You stopped at 16-20 but i try to continue from 21 – 25 , i got stocked question 21 and 22 other are knowledge based that is from 23,24 and 25.

Please, could help me on how the supervision number add up 5 on question 21?

And question 22 using high/low method , how did they arrive at 210 batches because batch units were not mentioned.

    Thanks in advance

    21. If production is 80% of maximum capacity, then it will be 80% x 262,500 = 210,000 units.

4 supervisors would only be able to deal with 4 x 50,000 = 200,000. So to deal with 10,000 more units they will need a 5th supervisor. (You can’t have fractions of supervisors 🙂 )

22 The question says that every 1,000 units will take 14 hours.
They are producing 210,000 units and therefore the time taken will be 210,000/1,000 x 14 hours.
