Thanks in advance.
April 14, 2020 at 2:13 am #568129Alhamdulillah, Passed with 50 Marks after several attempts.
April 14, 2020 at 2:26 am #568131Hello Deepthi,
I am giving an retake in September 2020. I am looking for a study buddy. Thanks.April 14, 2020 at 2:38 am #568132Can you share some techniques? I’d like to approach this at a different angle
April 14, 2020 at 3:11 am #568133Thank you Opentuition for the online lectures. Was really helpful
April 14, 2020 at 7:06 am #568146took this paper for the 4th time now i think i need a break i am so tired i dont know what i have been doing wrong
April 14, 2020 at 8:20 am #568161First attempt with score 57, i thought i failed this time and was depressed if i had to wait until Sept to retake again, thanks God. All i learned is from BPP. OT and I even didn’t do any past exams because didn’t have enough time. Just focused on Revision kit and read several times.
Keep going all you guys. Now on the way to learn FR. Another difficult paper…April 14, 2020 at 8:44 am #568165For me, this exam is a bit easy. Just read textbook, do past exam and pass with flying paper. Nothing outside the textbook, nothign strange, just study hard and enough to pass.
April 14, 2020 at 8:45 am #568166For anyone that is thinking of quitting because of a bad exam result, don’t lose heart! I have just passed the PM exam after my 4th attempt. I can tell you it is very frustrating and makes you wonder if you should be doing it but it honestly is all about your exam technique. Make notes on all the lectures and do exam questions. Open tuition provides exam questions and they also give a discount for additional questions in which you can try (only costs £10 – worth every penny).
I got 35%, 35% and 49% in my first 3 attempts and just thought I couldn’t do it. I passed this time with 63% all because I focused on correcting my exam technique. Remember that the way they ask the questions in the exam is more complicated than you think. (Do as many exam questions as you can!)
If you didn’t pass the exam this time, don’t worry, you can pass it. We all hit a bump at some point and it is about showing how you move on from this! Good Luck! 🙂
April 14, 2020 at 8:56 am #568167I wrote 3 exams and my PM score achieved – 52
April 14, 2020 at 10:01 am #568036Failed with 43.Did anyone else faced the problem where the exam was interrupted due technical problems. Those interruption definitely ruined my exam, when you are just done studying the section C question and suddenly you computer gets locked, and you are shifted to the next computer for continuing the exam after 15 mins of interruption. Then you should start again by restudying the question. That was a time killer. Couldn’t concentrate on the question after that. Those 15 mins is where I lost it. Anyways, will bounce back harder next time.
April 14, 2020 at 10:01 am #568075I got the magical number 50% on first attempt. Congratulations to those who passed and for those who failed, they should never give up, this is a battle that needs to be won. All is not lost. Keep marching on. Unleash the beast in you, everything will fall into place. Practice is very key and the theory part is as important as the calculations when it comes to PM. It is advisable to use a current exam kit for practise, technical articles regularly for assistance, OT notes and videos and revision and mock exams. On another note,OT is the real deal, ever since i started using their free notes and videos,i have cleared three papers namely FM, TX and PM. Now i’m going straight to the Professional exams through their help.
April 14, 2020 at 12:21 pm #568220I fail 44%, it was my first ACCA attempted exam, won’t give up next time I will get it.
Congratulations to you all that have passed, and to you all the did not, even though you still heroe for trying.April 14, 2020 at 12:29 pm #568222Congratulations to everyone who passed!
I failed my first attempt with 43 and want to retake in September. I only used OT notes and lectures, but now I’m thinking of buying some books as well. Is Practice & Revision Kit really helpful? And also can anybody who passed be my study mate and help when needed?April 14, 2020 at 3:37 pm #56826050% after failed many times – still can’t believe it. I have made a small donation – Thank you ever so much John. You’re the best.
April 15, 2020 at 12:21 am #568292How does a person who works full time pass this exam? It was my first attempt and the results was so dissatisfying. This is the first time I am taking an exam after 8 years.
April 15, 2020 at 2:47 am #568297Make a detail plan (take 2 weeks before exam for mock and past exams), then study for at least 1 hour everynight, full time (at least 8 hours) at weekend, dont go to bed before u finish the study plan fot that day.
I did that and pass with high score in first attempt. Exam isnt hard, everything in text book and past exams, u just didnt read enough.April 15, 2020 at 8:44 am #568317Pass 69% ?
Used Open Tuition alone.April 15, 2020 at 9:58 am #568324Passed 62 second attempt, first was 35 in december, I messed up a part C question in March too but had enough in the rest. What worked for me second time around.
Put more emphasis on part C. I started with Part C second time around and probably spent more time than I should have on it.
Study past exam papers especially part C always similar questions come up and I found learning and understanding variances fully was a great benefit. I only uses OT and ACCA website.April 15, 2020 at 11:20 am #568330Passed ?. So excited.
OT did the great deal… But lots of question practice and excessive discipline on exam day with regards to time management bottled it for me. Scored 65 on first attempt.
Congrats to all who passed and Courage to all who were unfortunate, keep the fight.April 15, 2020 at 9:15 pm #568392Failed second time, got 36 this time and got 46 last time. Don’t know where I am going wrong. This is the first time I will be studying from open tuition, hopefully it will help me.
Guys, if anyone can help me with some studying techniques, kindly reply.
Thanks in advance.
