Couldn’t answer the PM exam due to ACCA cancelling the session exams in Kuwait due to the coronavirus outbreak! Have to wait till June 2020 now to pass this exam!
March 4, 2020 at 2:39 pm #564142I noticed that on the exam vouchers that you print is says that with Pandemics you won’t probably get a refund!
March 4, 2020 at 2:42 pm #564143This was easier than I thought. This module is more maths based which is better for me as I did an engineering degree.
I answered everything, time was tight on section C but luckily I had some spare from a quick section A.
Did anyone else get a zero cost gap on the aircraft target cost?
I tried to check it twice as I thought it was odd to ask that question without a cost gap.I can’t see a Poll to fill out as it says in the title??
March 4, 2020 at 3:02 pm #564153In my opinion it was a very challenging paper. Tougher than I expected especially Section B because section C I was expecting it to be quite tough.

I got the same answer yes. I really battled with that question. It was very challenging
March 4, 2020 at 3:18 pm #564164My answer was $0 as well for that particular question.
March 4, 2020 at 3:59 pm #564183Agreed with the $0 however lost so much time recomputing again and again… weird question

March 4, 2020 at 5:29 pm #564202For section C I had got IOA and other institution for comparison
Where Growth , standards flexibility were issues and innovation & career support were plus pointsMarch 4, 2020 at 5:35 pm #564208thank you i also chose this answer, but how is the answer calculated
March 4, 2020 at 5:52 pm #564215I will have a crack at it:
You choose the best option for every demand and work the rates for that highest value. This is then the maximum profit you can hope to expect. This is the perfect rate.
Compare this to choosing the option with the highest expected value.
Perfect rate – highest expected value – cost of the survey = the profit improvement.
Obviously if this figure is negative then there is no point paying for the information but in the exam it was wort doing to the tune of $18K?

Well we either all correct or incorrect lol

March 4, 2020 at 7:02 pm #564244Anyone have issues with having to scroll unnecessarily to proceed with the exam?
Not being able to zoom out so you can actually see both the text and the full length of your word document was so absurd – you pretty much have to settle for seeing only 1 at a time with the resizing.
I don’t know if its due to monitor size?
March 4, 2020 at 8:27 pm #564269@shoban I had that problem as well, lost 5 minutes at the very end of exam. I couldn’t scroll past the page I was on no matter how much I tried. ACCA in my opinion should give more time and take this in consideration with CBE. Especially with issues of formulas as well. For such a time pressure paper the last thing one needs is go to battle with Excel or scrolling. It was such an ordeal that I wish I could make a formal complaint.
