Anyone knows how to solve this question..
It’s learning rate question and given that first 10units take 100hour time and from 10-30units it further take another 150 hours time ,so what’s the learning rate?
It was first question and really I got stuck on that!

Answer was 75%, the 1st ten units took 120 hrs, so 12 hrs per unit and then 150 hrs additional for the next 30 units so 40 units took 270 hrs = 6.75 hrs, 6.75/12 gives you .5625 which you then need to do a 2 root of .5625, which will give you 75%

I cant believe they didn’t give any proper questions from chapters like performance management and stuffs like breakevensales and learning curve in sec A & B!!
For sec C, it was kinda similar to dec’16.

My exam was rolling budgets and transfer pricing in section c.. i think i did not too bad! It’s always tricky with the time allocated for section c.. section a was alright!! But messed up one of section b questions, relevant costing of the bakery!! Hated that question
    Anyone got that?

For the Transfer Pricing Q in Section C, what did people get for the effect on overall profit if the division went with the alternative supplier?

Sounds like I had the same as the majority of people!

ABC and Variances (Cupcake company) on section B

Section C covered Moving from an Annual Budget to Rolling Budget and Transfer pricing as the final question.

In response to one of the questions above, I ended up with an answer that overall going with an external supplier resulted in an additional profit of just over 2 million for Sleep Co was it? Much bigger profit in Bed division but smaller profit in Mattress division which would have impacted on the divisional managers bonus.

Got ABB and ROI and RI in section C. Struggled with the ABB question. Other than that, the paper in general was okay. Hope we can get the 50% guys. Lets pray!

Section A had some I had to do a bit of guess work. I liked Section B – I got ABC costing for a hospital, copper variances and cakes. Section C – transfer pricing and rolling budget.

I also had the profit increase by about 2m when they went with external supplier

To someone who mentioned the * key – this threw me too initially, I could have sworn we were able to use it in the specimen exam. I eventually found that you have to use the one above the number 8.. so shift and 8 on my keyboard

MCQs were awful, section C was fair, but had problem with the star key not working on Vue.
I feel I have not so many chance to pass, because I wasted 16 marks for that issue.

I experienced the same problem, too. I am kind of relieved I was not the only one facing with that. I have raised formal complaint straight after the exam (and I would advice you to do the same, at least they will work so it won’t happen again), as this made me waste precious 20 mins, figuring out what to do with the invigilators.

Guys this was tough. I had an absolute disaster on one of the section B otc’s, literally geussing. I believe it was the cupcakes question. However, I did get the ROI, RI and reverse ABC questions in section C. You kinda need a minimum 40% in your worse sections to pass. It will be tight if I’d pass I’d say, but good luck to all.
