Failed again…2nd attempt. Im reallly fed up and starting to give up. I worked very very hard. Did as much past papers as I could!! Went to the lectures. This second time I even booked a flight to do the exam in London cause in my country it was not done in September …. and after all this hard work… I get a 47!!! :((( Im really starting to give up. This was a huge let down.

It is finished. Finally an affiliate!

God bless the open tuition team. And God bless you Mike Little. This website has been an inspiration throughout my ACCA studies. Is there a forum I can post to express my gratitude for the people that run this website?

    The legend ends here folks.

To those that failed, never give up because success is just around the corner.

Trust in yourself and believe you will do it.

    My love to all !!

    Hi Wong,
Thanks! This time, I had no relationship problems but also the fire to pass! hahaa

Basically I knew my ISAs inside out, learnt and understood most of the common IAS and IFRS (skipped employee pensions and rare ones). Studied past papers, how points were distributed and READ the question.
If they asked for audit procedures, don’t just say talk to management, state an example question you would ask and why (e.g. enquire whether evidence is checked before accepting them as customers as this demonstrates whether they fulfilled their AML duties).
I realised especially with question 1, when they ask for business risk, don’t state 10 risks, it’s better to write 6 and do them well explaining why they are a risk and potential consequences such as investing tons on R&D could lead to financial risk as a majority of that could fail, and the return will take a few years to realise etc.
Make sure you identify the differences between Business Risk, Audit Risk and the other one. Don’t start talking about IAS, IFRS and under/overstatement when discussing Business Risk.

Best of luck and you WILL pass!
    🙂

my advise has shown that you will not succeed. You rather that GBP52 to reregister to additional material.

I did that myself I did not win

Got 54% after my 3rd time. I only use open tuition, past questions and examiners answers, after using bpp and kaplan materials in previous exams.now I’m an affiliate. I have been trying to log on to myACCA since September result was released. I don’t know if anyone else is having the same issue. Thanks
