Passed, 53% first attempt. One more to go, P6!
April 16, 2018 at 7:32 am #447127Passed with 51% first attempt; on more to go. The paper overlaps with P2, and there is potential to score good marks in q1 (35 marks) as they are always based around audit/business risks. P5 is tougher for sure and you can get some very nasty papers, although if I had sat p5 a few times (took me two attempts) I would have another go at it in June and focus on nothing but exam technique. Also I think professional marks got me over the line on this one, so would advise anyone to not forget about those when beginning question 1! Well to those who passed; and keep going to anyone who missed out this time.
April 16, 2018 at 7:36 am #447136P4 – 59
P7 – 58Both second attempts. Affiliate finally!
April 16, 2018 at 7:55 am #447147Pass with 56 marks, the third attempt. was 40 and 40 the first two times. Suppose the key to success is carefully do all the tasks from the practice book and past exam papers for one or two years.
April 16, 2018 at 8:15 am #447166I took the P7 with 51; attempted third time. It was my last exam.

April 16, 2018 at 9:14 am #447232only 33%. Don’t know the reasons for failure.

Guys I failed P5 with 39 fourth time, should I switch to P7?I guess you should. I guess you are hard to get more than 45 in p5 for previous attempts.
Me too. I failed p5 four times. the score is 28,29,38,45.
Then, I change to P7. I pass. it is my first attempt.
April 16, 2018 at 9:24 am #447249Passed first attempt 57% which I thought was quite low but seems to be average pass, so very pleased. Two more to go!!
April 16, 2018 at 9:33 am #447257Congrats on Passing! I failed by 2% on my 3rd attempt! What do you mean by Link theory? Any tips welcome! Thanks
April 16, 2018 at 9:39 am #447266Failed on first attempt with 47%. Very painful, I was really hoping to get this one out of the way so I could focus on the last one in June.
Now I’ll have to re-sit this one and put sitting P5 back until September. I just don’t feel I’d have the time to put in the required study to sit P7 and P5 in June with working and having two toddlers taking up a lot of time and energy. These exams are tough and it’d be hard enough doing them without having outside distractions.
For all that passed well done and congratulations. For all that failed like me, hard luck and as difficult as it seems right now and as hard as it is hearing people say it, keep the head up, we’ll get through this and the thoughts of the joy, pride and satisfaction at the end of this journey is the motivation to keep on going.April 16, 2018 at 9:54 am #447284Passed with 56% from the first attempt! Alhamduallah I have been on passing from the first attempt streak P1, P2, P3, P7 and hopefully P4 in my next sitting.
Congratulations to all who passed, and for the ones who didn’t, please don’t give up. If I could do it anyone can do it as well.
April 16, 2018 at 10:03 am #447292Congratulations for being an affiliate !
Your comment grabbed my attention because I’m going for the same optional papers. I just passed P7 with 56% and I’m sitting my final paper P4 next June.
Do you mind sharing how to prepare for P4 ? Is the preparation for P4 any different than the other P-level papers ?
Thanks!

Very heartbroken
Any chance i can try re marking
Has anyone ever tried and has it been successfulApril 16, 2018 at 2:54 pm #447435Thank God, I passed P7 in my first attempt…. Never thought that I would get through this paper and this was really unexpected!!!
All the best for the people who passed and wish the very best for others as well!!!!
April 16, 2018 at 3:04 pm #447438The admin review (which will cost you £52) is not a re-marking service. It just makes sure that proper process was followed in the marking of your paper. You’ll get a breakdown of what you scored for each question and confirmation your marks were added up correctly. The only way your mark will be changed is if there was an error in adding them up… which of course means that your mark could go down as well as up in the event of that.
ACCA does have a policy of scrutinising scripts that fail by a mark or two just to be sure that the overall mark is correct.
It’s ultimately up to you, but I think you’d probably be wasting £52.
April 16, 2018 at 3:08 pm #447441Thanks a lot.
Think will retake in june ?April 16, 2018 at 3:32 pm #447449And the Journey is finally over. All thanks to God
