Does anybody know why the UK variant of this paper did not break down the marks for Q1 but did in the International variant for December 2013?

finally passed P7 with a good 54% , the exam was comparatively easier than previous diets. P7 is all about exam technique, however you should know the standards; they are extremely important and that’s what differentiates an ACCA from a CA. get to know the standards and apply the examiner’s style and you WILL pass God willing.
August 12, 2014 at 6:33 am #189551Passed with 55%, really happy. One more exam to do…
August 12, 2014 at 4:21 pm #189658I strongly disagreed with those comments you wrote to ACCA. My personal point of view is that ACCA is always marking those scripts with fair and just way while upholding the ACCA standard for decades.. Candidates like to blame their failure by pointing to the markers perhaps thinking that they should be ‘kind’ enough to at least give a pass at 50 marks. However, have they really thought on the problems lied on their answering techniques or actual requirements of the questions if they claimed they have had equipped themselves with suffix knowledge and studies to sit for the exam???
Why got students pass with ACCA all at first sitting whereas some need to take a few attempts just for one particular paper? What I knew from those people who taking ACCA are they just prepare for next round with the determination to study smart and more hardworking instead of ‘pointing their finger’ to ACCA’s fault..
There might be some candidates having the same experiences just like you but they strive their best for the next sitting and seek for improvement and do not repeat their same mistakes in the same paper..!
ACCA exams especially in ‘P’ papers are designed and set in such a way requires answering skills in an analytical way and be able to understand the structure and requirements of the questions based on a scenario given by applying theories that had studied during the fundamental levels at the same time..
If oneself is lack of patient and not finding the problems which arose in line with the past failure but spending time writing ‘harsh’ emails to ACCA thinking that complaint is the only way to make a pass at 50 marks, then it is serve no purpose one should continue taking up the ACCA sitting as it won’t be so many complaints make the coincidence just to get a pass at 50 marks..
This email is not bias to concerned student or anyone but merely to uphold the ACCA so that it could be able to sustain the high quality of ACCA affiliates after they have competed and passed all the exam papers..
August 12, 2014 at 7:46 pm #189721By the grace of God I passed P7 50%, what a relief. I am so lucky I scrapped through. If you failed this time then try again don’t loose faith.

At last I can sing a triuphant song. I passed with 57%
August 14, 2014 at 11:00 pm #190179‘after passing 12 acca papers and 18 CA papers, i dont think if i ever were to give same papers again, i would passs… simply because they manage pass rates…’
Every one would be the same so do I as there won’t be repeated question in exact words and one can rewrite the answers in exact way back…
If I’m not wrong, my previous email was just to encourage our peers and fellow friends not to give up! we can’t alter the fact of ACCA manage their passing rates but just to respect them…we may to alter our way of learning for those who can’t make it for the first attempt let say… Do digest the mail before attacking just one’s personal point of view else I’m pleased to tell that you could have a sorry mental state instead..
Most of us have gone through tough and hard time in order to complete the ACCA, it would be fruitful one day if one can CONTINUE their hard work in a smarter way whichever one think i best justified instead of wasting time writing harsh emails to ACCA to make complaint ! complaint ! and complaint!
August 15, 2014 at 9:44 am #190316I failed both P3 and P7 and very disappointed especially because I have been registering for P3 and not writing it because I felt I was not really ready. This time, I did revise (self study and first attempt for both) and I thought I wrote well. I wish I can see my script. Never felt like this before. About P7, nothing was difficult especially because I have experience in the subject.
If possible to those that passed please share the winning tips…and Congrats to you all guys!August 15, 2014 at 10:56 am #190340AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0
