Hi, bad luck with 48% πŸ™

Is it worth appealing? When a script is first marked and the initial score lies between 45% and 49%, the marker will go through that script and reassess the marks originally given.

They will make a conscious effort to find the missing marks that will get you to 50%. They (believe me here) want you to pass. If they score you below 50 and that paper is selected for review (in line with normal practice) and the examiner determines that the marker was too strict and in fact the paper deserved 50 or better, that marker faces a reprimand and could potentially lose their position as a marker (expensive way to lose a lot of income in a quiet period of a lecturer’s life)

So your script has been looked at two and sometimes three times by the marker in an effort to get that score up to 50%

A review is merely an exercise to confirm that all pages submitted have been assessed and that all marks awarded have been included in the total

In short, don’t waste your money. Save it for the cost of a resit. And do a bit better next time πŸ™‚

39, this was my first attemp.

I am really interested by the advices on how overcome the P-level papers.

I passed all the F-level papers (F1 to F9) on first attemp except F4 that passed the 2nd time.
    Since I am on P-level, I only passed P1 (52) on 2nd time. My scores for the others are P2(33); P3 (47, 46, 29); P7(39).
May be it is because english is not my 1st language. I am really thinking now to take only one paper per sitting to really concentrate. For sure in Dec 2014, I will only chose P2.

    Do not hesitate to advise.
