Congratulations to all who passed. To those who have to re-sit, as others have stated on here, spend a little time digesting your result, rebook and prepare.

Having failed numerous time’s, I know what it’s like to get disheartened and have to go through the process again.

What worked for me this time was taking the option questions first and sticking to time. Moving on to the next question is hard but it gives you a chance to answer all the questions rather than rush with only 30 minutes to go. Good luck

Passed P6 and have finally become an affiliate. I found the F6 lectures on Open tuition very useful as I had forgotten most of the basics of F6. I don’t know the name of the tutor, but would like to genuinely thank him. My suggestion for those who failed is to create a good foundation of F6 and then further build the P6 knowledge.

finally passed with my 3rd attempt with 76% soo happy with that.

i walked out and thought “yeah, it wasn’t *that* bad this time” – but you never can tell.

    i went from 44% and 40% to 76% 🙂

    1st attempt in December 2016, I got 47.
    2nd attempt in March 2017, I got 47 again.
Can anyone advise if a review is recommended??

not really. i was told that if you score 49% then they have already marked it, marked it again and then potentially checked for a 3rd time to see if they can find you an extra 1%.

if you have got 47% then i think it is safe to say there is no way they will find you an extra 3% 🙁

    Hi,

I have some Kaplan study book etc that I could send you. Don’t want any money for them, if you send me your email address, I will email you with what I have and you can decide if you want them? All I ask is that you pay the postage? I will keep a look out on here.

    Hi dannyw1284,

Congratulation in passing. This was my 2nd attempt and failed miserably. Can you give any advise in what you did differently from the other times.

    Thank you
    S

Is it (P 6) more difficult that P 4 if someone has taken both and can compare those papers ? I passed F 9 with 62 last Dec 16 . F 6 was done three years ago and it was Russian variant which is much easier and shorter that F 6 UK. I will definately go for P 7 and think about P 6 or P 4 . No P 5 as this a horrible paper – I sat for F 5 three times and got only 53 . F 9 was more understandabe for me than F5.
