Hi guys,
The link theory is that if you are a finalist and can access the link (see June 2017 results count down for link) you have passed. But even if you error message you still may have passed. But from what I understand if you do get in you have 100% passed as its an afilliate page.

I passed! the link theory worked for me after all. But I keep thinking maybe I’m dreaming.Congrats. You was not positive at all about the link theory lolsss
July 17, 2017 at 10:44 am #396976I dont understand the meaning of link theory? only applicable to the students who left last paper?
July 17, 2017 at 10:54 am #396986Passed 64%, glad it is all now over.
The link theory didn’t work for me and only added unnecessary stress. Kept reading how many others could access and seeing as I couldn’t convinced myself I had failed. My advice to others is just to ignore it and wait for the result! Good luck to all
July 17, 2017 at 11:21 am #397002Passed with 59% now an affiliate – this is a very weird feeling being finished!

Can anyone confirm something for me? Is it true that you have to show competency in all questions on order to pass? I was convinced that id got 50+ marks on questions 3 and 4 and a bit of 2, but question 1 I did barely any of ( i skipped the 20 marker conpletely) and I wonder if that’s what let me down? I got 42 in the end. Well done to those that passed especially where this was your last exam.
July 17, 2017 at 8:41 pm #397162Passed! 64%! Thank God. Lovely surprise! One more to go before affiliation??

Those of my friends who are not able to pass this time rememer that at times Life may knock you down badly BUT the key is to pick yourself up and fight again and again until you succeed. At one time i was so demotivated that i left ACCA with 11 papers knowing that i won’t be able to complete it, but resumed after a long period of time with new determination and ambition and qualified the remaining 3 in first attempt. Keep fighting.

July 21, 2017 at 8:33 pm #397994The best advice I can give is to practice as many past exams that you can. With tax it is difficult as the rates change so often but I got a revision guide from Kaplan which updates past exams to current rates etc. I have a young child so I self study and cannot attend any college days, but I make sure I do 2 hours a day on a weekday and a whole Sunday. Learn the rules but more importantly learn how to apply them in all situations. Good luck!!
July 23, 2017 at 11:15 am #398214I passed P6 ZAF 53%……Now taking a relook on my last module that I failed in June P4!
July 26, 2017 at 1:04 pm #398772Dear colleague,
I understand your painful feeling very well. I failed P3 with 48 marks and asked for an Administrative Review. They just told me that ACCA’s procedure for issuing marks includes lots of checks and balances and confirmed those 48 marks. The only worthy information is that they told me which questions I passed and which question I failed. Now, thank God, I passed P6 MLA, which gave me a really hard time, and now I intend to sit for P3 again next September. We need to work loads of past papers. I wish you all the very best, and hope that both you and I, and of course all our P3 colleagues that this time we’ll do it. Best regards and keep courage.
