@laima522 Thank you. I am sacrificing a lot of time and I watched the video for p5 resitters from the examining team, I watched my time management, I read and understood the Q requirements. All I was doing was past papers and Opentuition. I am going again in june but this time my focus will be on p2 as it is easier to pass and I will focus on my weak areas for p5. Things like porter’s 5 forces etc I know inside out.

I thought ACCA was masters level or have i got it wrong?

I think from myacca you can print a certificate that shows you are an affliate and have completed all p level papers..

Also does anyone know if we need to start submitting cpd points? Just got an email about attending a seminar to get 7 cpd points??

Passed in a second attempt with 57 marks.
Also passed P4 with 53 marks in a second attempt as well. Doing these two together was really tough.
To those who didn’t make it : do not give up and start anew as if you never sat for it and never failed, just study in more depth. You’ll be fine.

Failed in December with 48%, but got 50% this time! Not the best result but considering I only studied for about a week because I was sick and wasn’t even going to do the exam I’m delighted.

Used opentuition lecture videos and also did all the questions in the revision kit for Kaplan.

Passed first time but most of the answering is to do with understanding the question.

Some questions in the past paper you think you know the answer then when you see the actual answer it is completely different.

This exam is more about understanding then memorising.

In march we had benchmarking, ERPS, EVA and transfer pricing, hardly any ‘normal’ models it was all understanding the scenario and talking about it.

I spent a lot of time to learn ratios and when is the best to apply and why. I think it is critical for P5 paper as in every exam one or two questions are based on ratios, Eva, NPV and etc.

Spending a lot of time revising ratios is not very good use of your time given there will be maximum 5-10 marks for this.

By this time in your studies, ratios should be second nature
