April 17, 2017 at 7:25 pm #382219I’ve failed P5 for the second time, this time doing a lot worse than the first attempt even though I thought I did better this time round. I also failed P4 in June last year but I’m thinking of doing it again in June, however if I fail again in June I will lose my job. Any advice?
TIA
PiyaaApril 17, 2017 at 9:52 pm #382233Thank you gabrielasdiana. That’s good advice. I just have P5 to go and that’s it. I think having 1 left will give me the incentive to really apply myself.

Finally! my ACCA journey is over 54% I hope the new qualification brings about a lot of opprtunities. Thanks a million Opentuition for the support.
April 19, 2017 at 11:55 am #382610Congrats to those who passed, I got 48 again, too frustrating and a drawback with one paper only to be a full ACCA
April 19, 2017 at 3:32 pm #382651Pass rate was only 28%. I’ll definitely take my 56% and a pass… On to the last one now.
April 19, 2017 at 4:11 pm #38266357% and I’m done with ACCA after 38% in December.
However, this paper is taught poorly IMO (by BPP for sure) as it is over-complicated. The basis for passing this paper is to approach it from a management perspective and NOT a strategic perspective. However, this doesn’t provide any clarity – not for me at least.
Nevertheless, after researching quite substantially after my fail …. I realised that this paper will give minimal credit unless providing your own insight. Basically, state the theory and REGURGITATE POINTS THAT CAN BE APPLIED TO THE SCENARIO. In effect, providing there is some logic to your answer, there are endless answers that will be given credit.
For example … implementing a new integrated CRM will be great for collaborative working as per the text book – BUT … this may have an impact on staff levels and thus creativity duen to the cost impact.
That’s a very basic example, but my point is that requirements can be simplified. We are told only 20-30% relates to theory, so this is all you need to know. The other 70-80% will be in respect of what we can come up with. And in that sense, there are almost limitless correct answers.
Good luck for all those who have not passed! Perseverance is key here.

April 20, 2017 at 11:38 am #382822I do not get how people can keep sitting same exam for 5, 10 or even 15 times. How much time it takes?
In last case it should take liek minimum 5 Years. I think ACCA is limited to 7-10 years if I remember.April 20, 2017 at 3:13 pm #382858failed 38 %.. trusting GOD for june 2017
April 21, 2017 at 11:15 am #382949What a long journey because of P5? So many sittings and got around 40’s.. i do n’t know what to do now. I am soooooo depressed and no strength but i believe God will answer my prayers in June. I cross my fingers.
Happy for you guys who managed to get rid of this paper.
April 21, 2017 at 11:22 am #382951take diferent optional paper. I would take P7 or P4
