Hello, I tried P5 7 times and finally passed, don’t panic, this paper is just matter of time. This time I was strict on time management and switch to the next question as soon as times come and at the end come back to the left questions. Score was 56. If you will attempt next time get several days off and study on it, this paper don’t need long preparations, this time I studied only 3 days and passed. Thank to the GOD. I wish good luck to everyone on this paper.

Watch video lectures and practice plenty of past questions. I would advice you download these past questions from the ACCA website so you would appreciate the depth, mix and requirements of the questions.
I wish others attempting paper P5 in future the very best!!!

41 third attempt. Frustrated with myself. Not sure if I should attempt again or switch.
I even considered going for admin review. Is it worth it?

Just wanted to know which practice and revision kit people prefer – BPP or Kaplan? I used BPP for P5 but is the Kaplan one any different at all?

69% for P5 and 70% for P3. First attempt. Yay!! Only P6 to go. 69% is my lowest exam result throughout my ACCA exams. I think this might be because I do every BPP Revision past paper question. Takes forever (I think there were 110 for P5, which was very painful but worth it). but I’ve always found that one of the questions in the exam is based on a previous questions ( but might not be a recent question). Good luck everyone on your future studies.

2012 DEC = 48 (short time preparation only P5 text book and past papers)
    After one year
In 2013 DEC = 38 Fully unsatisfied with my result. (never scored below 45 in any prior attempt)
Wasted a complete year to give best performance in exam and at last got the worst remark of all time. Revised text book, revision kit and past papers F2, F5, P3 and P5 plus ACCA and CIMA articles and improved my Business English listening business news and after all if, this is what I deserve.

Now friends please, provide me with any further help

Yes, I too like to go for an administrative review. How can increased hard work/study and better performance provide a poor feedback?

60% P5, 61 P4, so happy, ‘m now an affiliate. I thank God for his mercies.
And you, OT, since I found you some years ago, you have been, well…, a study buddy, a tuition provider, a helping hand and friend. its true what they say the best things in life are free.

Congrats to all those who’ve passed and all the best to those who still have exams to pass, i believe in you too, just like OT does. Peace out!

38 marks on my 4th time seating this exam. Had never such a situation to fail an exam over so many times, don’t know what I am doing wrong? as I had a feeling I did a good paper after I left the exam hall. This is a disaster I don’t know what to do for June 2014?

It s a common trend of marks going down in P5 from first attempt of 41 to fifth attempt 34 .Theres certainly something wrong with either style of marking or the questions set.The p5 examiner has tried to communicate what he wants why are we not getting it? lisa P7 examiner communicated whats she wants in P7 we got it and theres improvement in the pass rates and consistency in examinable areas of syllabus.

lowest fail rate ,give me a strategy should I burn my old books .Give me a strategy ive attended class ,self study ,combined both????????????????
