I am going for an admin review. I did a mock with Atc and got 60 with a positive feedback. I worked hard until exam day! Can’t believe 32 from 43 in June 2013. Was it a common mistake for us who have low marks or an admin error?

59 in first attempt. Passed P4 as well with 65. Studied about a month each so it can be done in a short time. I used OT notes for P3 but I found them lacking for P4 and P5, so I used Kaplan Text and BPP revision kit respectively.
February 8, 2014 at 8:47 pm #157054I paid for the 2nd attempt review, i got the same result last Aug. But this time, i am going for review again, at least they should tell me which one i did not do well.
Many thought this was the easiest P5 papers, but i am not so sure about that
Many thought they would have passed, including me, but we failed again and again!
3 attempts = 1.5 years!!!
February 8, 2014 at 8:56 pm #157056I feel for you guys who felt sure of passing. I was retaking P5 and felt the same that it was easiest paper recently. I felt sure I would get quite a high mark of 70/80 but only got 59%…… Marking must have been very harsh.
On the other hand I was sure i’d failed P4 yet I scored 54%!!!Keep going friends, it will be worth it in the end.

37 fail what a disaster
February 9, 2014 at 4:51 am #157116I passed at 59%. It is the highest mark in all my ACCA journey. In my memory, I at least got 30-39 twice, and 40-49 once. I sat at these exams in China and Canada. So many things happened during those years. For completing this paper, so much my precious life is put into it. I am so happy that my pain and worry is ended today.
A very important message that I would like to pass is that reviewing F5 knowledge is very important for passing P5. I analysed why I did not pass P5 at the first attempt like other 8 papers because I got F5 exempted. Even though P5 does not look as hard as other papers and everyone can make some points, but if you do not have solid F5 knowledge, your answers may be superficial or repeated, not relating questions to the roots and to the solutions.
Opentuition is highly recommended because it not only provide P5 course but also provide F5. All for free! But in P5 revision part, I hope it can provide more lectures for the future students. Thank you! John Moff is an excellent lecturer.

Passed P5 1st attempt with 53. For all those failing this paper, the examiner frequently states there is a lack of application, analysis and evaluation so this could be the reason. Also, in your next attempts do not miss out on the VERY important 4 professional marks in Q1. This probably made the difference in my paper. The layout and structure of your report will ultimately decide between a pass and fail specially for those getting marks between 45-49. Going through answer guides and question papers will certainly help you to master this. Keep going friends, its only the last few papers and you’ll be done with it for good.
February 9, 2014 at 7:38 am #157148I FAILED MY P5 PAPER AGAIN IT WAS MY 2ND ATTAMPT. THIS IS MY FIRST ACCA PAPER I HAVE EVER FAILED DONOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING WRONG.
