Passed 50% and now an affiliate.This has been a rough journey. Attempted 80% of the exam.This was my fourth attempt and my route has been thus:
June 2015: 25%
December 2015: 40%
March 2016: 45% and now
June 2016: 50%.Please for all those who have not made it, I say ”Don’t Give Up”. You shall one day smile.
I say a big thank you to Open Tuition and Mr John Mofat. I benefited so much from your notes and videos. May the Almighty God bless you all.
Pass – 50%. I wasn’t going to open email as I was convinced I had failed. Exams complete, need to do PER now…….
50% on the dot in P4! Am I dreaming? To God Almighty be thy GLORY. ACCA now completed. For those that didn’t make, please don’t relent as you will surely get there.

Pass! I’ve done it ! many thanks to Open tuition, u r the best!!
I passed with 54% first attempt. To God be the glory, I am now an Affiliate.
It has been a worthy journey all the way. At least, I have a sense of accomplishment.
Passed in second attempt with 58%. Wow AFFLIATED! Thank you Lord. Thank you Open tuition. Thank you so much Sir Moffat!
Passed with 64%.
I’m now an affiliate, having passed all ACCA papers on the first attempt.
I’m so proud of myself.

Finally an affiliate!!!! Passed with 50 after two fails with P5. I guess I am a P4 person.Thanks Opentuition for video lectures. They really helped me.
Impressive! Well done! Both papers are monsters! And self-study! Respect! I failed P4 and would be very grateful if you could give me some advise! Tnx in advance

I strongly recommend watching Open tuition videos. I think this was the key for my success.

pls can u share ur technique, i seem to spend soo much time on que one, espercially on de calculationsYou have to answer the question they set and not what you want them to ask. That’s simple, but important to comprehend and the examiner mentions this in his report in almost every exam.
Time management is paramount. I spent 5 extra minutes on Q2 (1st question I attempted), and I needed around an extra 5 minutes for Q3 (last question I attempted). Even if you haven’t finished a question, once the allotted time is up, you finish your sentence and move on.
Don’t waffle. Waffling is for breakfast.
Use the correct format. If it’s a report, which it normally is, write as a report. The 4 professional marks are EASY marks. I left 4 blank pages so that I could work on the calculations at the end of the question, then I went back to write the report. It is always better to leave too many pages than too few.
It is better to dedicate time to think about what you want to write, and write that, than to just write willy nilly. That won’t get you many marks and you’ll waste a lot of time and hand muscles.
If you are spending too long on Q1 because of writing the report or doing the calculations, then you are going to work in order to improve that time. With more practise, it’ll be easier and you’ll find you understand more.
