fail 44 my p4 second attempt
January 15, 2018 at 11:17 am #429933Failed with 34% but I did arrive 20 minutes late to the exam due to a massive traffic jam so I didn’t finish the paper. I did not do my last question so I missed 25 marks. I’m still glad I went in to write it though – makes me believe my studies were going in the right direction as I did get some marks for what I did write! Will re-write in March and hope to pass my final exam then!! Can’t wait to qualify!!

Failed 44% – 7th attempt at P4. Spent a fortune for the past 5yrs on this paper alone. Dont have a center in my country of residence so always have to fly to another country to take the exams. I definitely need a miracle but I wont give up now…. will register for March session.

Thank you John and open tuition. Been a long journey. Passed all my examsJanuary 15, 2018 at 3:09 pm #430101Thanks OT guys I will definately donate.
You guys are the best I passed!56%January 15, 2018 at 8:45 pm #430282Finally passed this paper with 55 after about 8 attempts( I had stopped counting). Was a rough road. Struggling with it from about 2014. Finally an affiliate. Congrats to those who passed. To those who didn’t make, don’t give. My strategy in the last exam was to fight until the end ( I was so consumed and at my wits end with ACCA It was like my entire life was on hold). Don’t give up in the exam. Push yourself, think, write and then write some more. I did it, so can you. More Blessings to you all. Thanks also to John from opentuition!!

January 16, 2018 at 2:22 pm #430525Please every one note that ACCA clearly explains the reasons of failure if someone fails between 45-49 marks it means there is lacking in exam technique, if someone fails with below 44 marks then the possible reason is that lack of knowledge. Please go to ACCA webiste and study the retake guides given in every paper exam resources section
Thanks and Regards,

thanks.January 18, 2018 at 10:56 am #431015Passed at the second attempt with 57.
Bizarrely, P4 was the hardest module for me out of the 5 P papers I did and it gave me my second highest mark.
It’s a real shock. Although section B was very fair in my opinion, when I saw so many marks on bonds in section A, I thought for sure my chances of passing had gone tits up. I’m not surprised the pass rate was the lowest of all 4 sittings in 2017.
I’ve been running on fumes for the past year, so very happy to finally be done.
For those who failed, it’s natural to be depressed but do pick yourselves up again. They are going to have to go back to a more orthodox Q1 at some point, you’ll get your chance eventually.
