It was my 3rd Consecutive attempt and i failed it on 45.

I did all good, the best exam i wrote in ACCA yet don’t know why it happened.

    Disheartened.

Wish i could see the mistakes i made. πŸ™

Mar ’17 please have mercy Mr. Examiner.

Passed with 55%. P4 was a challenge, it was the only paper I wrote more than 3 sittings.

I also got 47% which is a marginal fail really, so if you can resit in March, go for it, but if not then go for the June exam , so that you have plenty of time to revise .

    Passed with 59%

Q1 saved me as I messed up in section B Qs. Left 8 mark relatively easy requirement unanswered as I overspent 20 mins in Q1.

But hey not complaining at all. But wasn’t definitely sure that I will pass until I read the answer to Q1 couple of days before result.

    54 at my forth attempt!!!
I am so happy to be through with this paper, yet it was probably the most interesting one for me after P2.
Guys, do not believe those who speak about perseverance, the key thing is to finally understand the examiner’s requirements and expectations.

65 on my first attempt. Yeah, exam technique will definitely take you a long way, but I also suspect that the level of English used significantly contributes to one passing or failing.

If the examiner struggles to understand the message the student is trying to convey, or he perceives that it lacks a level of professionalism (slang language, illegible handwriting, no argument structure, and even poor grammar or spelling), then the student will have a much tougher time passing. Furthermore, I’d say always attempt every question and every single mark and never go over the stipulated time. If you run out of time, move to the next question and then go back to it if you finish early.
