Alhamduliallh pass at 57%. It takes 4.5 years and 10 attempts. But I never give up.

So, those who failed, never give up. Keep patience and go forward.

Failed for the 3rd time. Got 46%. And now my passed P1 exam doesn’t count anymore due to the changes in ACCA.
I think it’s best to give up and find a different career route. Time to think about what other options there are.

Hello, I’m touched to log in and respond to your post. I’m qualified but with similar story of failure. It’s easy to hear hang on, carry on and the likes for such a failure. I want to encourage you to go for the SBL with the same strength you employed towards passing your Fs. It’s not so easy, but you will succeed if you remain in the race. Please don’t be dismayed in any way. Stay strong and re-write. All the best. Uche

This was my first sitting of the exam after having decided I just wasn’t ready at the previous sitting. I had purchased BPP books but I find the text book too heavy going. They are covering too many topics that are necessary for the exam so I found myself lost before the previous sitting and didn’t attend. About 5 weeks before this sitting I saw a post on here with someone stating they just use the Open Tuition notes which you can download and the ACCA past papers. So I did, as I felt I had nothing to lose by trying. It worked really well as they focus on what you need to know. I got 71% which shocked me as I thought I’d only done enough to achieve the pass mark or a few above.

Passed P3 on the very 1st attempt. I am so thankful. I dont have much to share on what i did because i started studying 2 weeks before the exam. But, what i will say is practice, practice, practice a LOT of question papers. I used question papers to sail through. Of course it is essential to have some knowledge but i gained the relevant knowledge bits as i did the question papers. I cannot emphasise this enough. Past question papers and revision kits are your Holy Grail. Practice and Practice some more. All the best everyone.

Passed P3 on my 2nd attempt all by doing self study with Open Tuition. So happy I have saved my P1. Time to start thinking about P2 which I attempted 2 years ago but due to personal issues I had to stop. I think passing P3 is going to motivate me to keep going 🙂

Congrats to all who passed and to those who didn’t, keep going !! We all get there eventually
