Hi I have to sit P2 UK variant and I am a bit stuck on the practical diff between 2 exams. Anybody can help? I did Bpp int course and revision, but Bpp was not able to help on the practical diff between int & UK paper. I tryed acca but the only guidance they had is to have a look in syllabus, but syllabus does not give practical help. Please help 🙂

Basically, the UK paper is the same as the INT paper, but tweaked a little in places where you’ll be asked to account for something under UK standards or discuss the how the treatment of something would be different under UK standards. Have a look at past papers on the ACCA website and compare the INT paper with the UK variant and you’ll see that in the main, it’s the same paper. The question will tell you if it wants application of UK standards. There can be 15 to 20 marks across the paper for the UK standards element.
Also, there is a matrix on the ACCA website that points out which differences between UK/INT standards are examinable, it’s about halfway down the second page: https://www.accaglobal.org.uk/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/f7/f7-p2-examdocs-2013-j14-int-uk.pdf.
