Passed with 66% – very relieved, as I was convinced I’d failed this one!

unexpectedly, I passed my P1 without study. I just revised Open tuition notes last day before exam and I got success. On the other hand I was serious in P# and that I failed

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time and effort to offer, advice, encouragement and support following my postings. This is my first fail at an ACCA exam and it has hit me hard.

I only use Open Tuition and BPP text/revision books as I am not supported by my employer to pay for course tuition.

I intend to give it some more thought tomorrow after the shock of today has passed, although the thought of not revising for the next 12 months is appealing! There is also a part of me that wanted the qualification so much, but I just need to work out if I am capable of achieving it before I throw more money at exams.

    Thank you all ?

I self study too, so I know what you mean, and it’s difficult to gauge how you’ve done in a practice question for the wordy exams, so you only really know how you’ve done when your results drop in.

Have a look on youtube for some help with approaching P1, or even leave it for now and do one of the other P papers that you prefer, and come back to P1 at a later date.

Ademola : Please have confidence in your self.

Think positive and u will make it,

I was afraid of the P’s myself because of old talks of friends

    but i overcame that.

And i started the P’s one by one and so far have got P1 AND P3 DOWN .

SO IF CAN DO IT U CAN TOO.

    WITH GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

    Hi Guys:

I know just how u all fell at this moment.

    I count remember repeating F9 3 times and F9 4 time, P1 3 times , P3 2times

and i felt that i was not strong enough, but with much determination, encouragement
from family and friend and with God who empowered me I can safely say

That I only have 3 more papers to complete.

Hope my testimony will be a form of encouragement to u.

My advice is , that a week after results and try again.

    Hi:

In other for me to succeed in an exam I focus on one paper at a time until I succeed.

read articles relating to u paper.

know u key terms ( see open tuition )

    Practice allot.

I have a family too so understand u situation.

I study late hours when every one is asleep.

Saturdays and Sunday I get out of the house. and go the nearest school or university to study.

thought that i had cleared the 50% mark and potentially achieved about 60%..

in the end just got 51%, which is a pass and great !

but a little to close for comfort 🙁

Got 51 marks for P1. 🙂 I did self-study, used open tuition lectures.
Never thought I would pass. Thank God.
Thank you Sir Mike for your advices!
    God Bless you!
