Passed P1 57% I am very happy. I study very hard for all my exams I pour bloody sweat n tears into my studying. It makes me slightly annoyed when you get a minority of people who state that they managed to pass with either no studying at all or with very little effort. It is highly unlikely that you can pass any ACCA exams without putting I the required time and effort. My congrats goes out to all those who passed who take their studies seriously. For those who failed congrats to you for trying. There is always Dec.

First of all, Congratulation to all with splendid result.

I have been pursuing ACCA and planning to give P1 and P2 in December 14.

As of now my performance in ACCA has not been very good because i have time limitation due to very tough job. I just want to take advice from you.

    – Keeping in view the time limitation, what strategy should be adopted? normally what i do is; completing study text (Kaplan) and then past exams question practice from ACCA official answers. Please advice………..

    – Particularly i face problem in theoretical exams like F8 mainly due to writing speed in spite of knowing the answers. Please advice…….

    – Normally i unable to complete more than 80% of paper despite of knowing the answers due to inappropriate strategy of attempting the paper. I need your detailed advice.

If you dont mind, may i take your advice wherever needed.

    Kashif

For P1, the key thing is you need to need to read again the relevant contents of F8. Moreover, try to read the topics on Risk Management and Corporate Governance from the news and research articles.

I totally agree with you shanny1812 🙂 I think you need to study hard to be able to pass any of ACCA exams and I don’t believe that anyone could just sit and pass without any studying as there are specific areas of syllabus which you cannot just know (like models, theories, etc). Just like you I studied hard and spent all the time I had revising and it paid off. Well said shanny1812 🙂
