Welcome to the Opentuition forums. A lot depends on the areas in which you wish to specialise. In broad terms ACCA tends to cover more areas of accounting and finance than CIMA. CIMA foccusses on management accounting and finance connected with business. ACCA contains much greater emphasis on Audit and taxation (particularly individual taxation) than CIMA.
