Acca mitigating circumstance appeal

I faced some technical issues in my exam in September and was advised by the invigilators to file for mitigating circumstances. However acca told me that my results will reflect any consideration applied and when i got my results, i missed the pass work by 3 marks and based on the feedback i feel that the consideration was not applied. I was told to file for a mitigating circumstances appeal. Anyone who applied for that previously and what was the results? This is stressing me, i want to know if it is worth it.
