Hi, I passed my final exam in July and I am now a Member as I have completed my PER. I didn’t attend a university or college, I studied at home using Open Tuition and study books. As it took me 12 years to pass (I’m not good at exams), it would be nice to have a graduation ceremony. Does anyone know if I will get to graduate with a cap and gown as I studied at home. Colleagues who have studied at university have graduated previously. I asked ACCA and they said I would get invited to a new member ceremony following transfer to membership but is this the same as a graduation ceremony? Thanks
Is this new member ceremony held in London and when?
I would have thought, this would be similar to graduation, without the cap and gown.
If you do the MSc, I think there is a formal graduation after that.
Thankyou for your reply, I’m not sure if it’s in London or when. I haven’t had an invite yet. I will wait to hear thanks
First of all congratulations on the completion of your ACCA course, as far as I know there is no ceremony, the certificate will be sent to your address.
I needed some advice from you on how to complete my PER. How to claim the objective, how to compose my written statements, your help will be really appreceiated.
Thank you in advance
Dear Sherwin95,
Have you passed all papers? Having more than 3 years working experiences?
