Too bad thread got deleted, opentuition why did you delete the thread? It was great.
April 11, 2019 at 1:43 pm #511922How many exams do you all have left?
April 11, 2019 at 1:47 pm #511923@imy198 I agree the other thread was so helpful now I’m so anxious!
April 11, 2019 at 1:49 pm #511924Thread I assume was deleted because of the obsession with a ‘Link Theory’ which as was shown before the thread was deleted, did not work for people. I believe this was something that did work in the past but has now been acted upon by ACCA, something any organisation would do when a potential breach of their systems is identified. People have waited weeks until this point, I suppose it’s not too bad waiting a few more days. Maybe discussion should be around whether it would be best to receive results before the weekend as opposed to the start of a fresh week. I am personally a finalist and know I failed my exam, I will not be eagerly anticipating my result this time around.

I did in fact try the method and intially it was not working until after 9am in the morning when it started to update for all… currently according to it, I appear to have passed and have ended my long 2 year ACCA journey.
Don’t worry, I sat my last exam 4 times! You can do it next time!!!!!
April 11, 2019 at 2:04 pm #511926Which was your final exam? I have sat AFM once and had just not covered enough material. I have started question practice so hopefully in another 8 weeks I should have got enough practice.
Just a shame ACCA doesn’t release results as soon as they are ready!

I cannot see any infringement doing that. Apparently when uploading the exam results, a tick box appears on that page when you are a finalist.
If there is a way to see the results earlier by simply logging on to an official link then people will do it , even politically correct accountants :-)!
Therefore I blame ACCA for this.As concerns me, I have been writing the last exam for three times (AFM) and each time There was no such box and I failed. Today, finally I could see one. This means that my ACCA journey is finally over!!!
Good Luck to everyone!

Hi Jen
Please where is the thread for only finalist…i hope talking about this here will not confuse other non finalist as we experienced in Dec 2018…or has OP deleted/remove it?April 11, 2019 at 2:46 pm #511931Delete thread or not,E business link theory is 100% accurate. Those FINALISTS who see tick are certainly through, those who dont see that by afternoon on Sat have failed.
Its always correct.ACCA updates ebusiness for us to see,so there is nothing wrong in advising fellow students to check it out.NO TICK =FAIL and TICK=PASS
Its been proven every sittingApril 11, 2019 at 2:47 pm #511932@jez22 said:

April 11, 2019 at 2:54 pm #511935How many sessions in a row is the tick/no tick relevant for finalists results? Maybe ACCA had finally corrected it and on every finalist account shows the tick option? Is there someone who is finalist and there is no tick on the ebus acca account?

April 11, 2019 at 3:21 pm #511942Am I finalist?
The thing is- I ve got my exemption in f6, but in result status, the exam session mentioned against that is June 2019.
Since, I did write my final AAA paper in march, does link theory work for me?
Any Link theory experts, please answer.

Yes it will work for you , but because the other thread has been delected i will not post any link here as i have much respect for opentuition , OP has really help in my journey….so i will advise you to go to the Dec 2018 countdown and test the theory as applicable there
April 11, 2019 at 3:53 pm #511954ACCA needs to think of releasing the results in Friday… could be there are some back end work post declaration of results, which ACCA can do in Sat/Sundays. However, weekend prior to Monday ‘Result’ Day for students becomes a hell and true tormentor.
Remember, above issue being discussed several occasions in earlier threads but ACCA has only noticed Link Theory and ensured that these threads get deleted!! It is quite funny but I am not advocating anything against the rule. If in a normal way the link is displaying tick box, etc, then viewing same has no harm as students being given access upto that point
Moreover, for last one year ACCA has changed the pattern of questions, merged two big subjects into one and putting up some challenging questions for both Professional & Optional subjects where case studies are big or complicated and simultaneously time management is the biggest challenge. I feel ACCA may wants lesser number of qualified accountants and resits will help to earn more. In the other hand, students are in financial pressure and future becomes more uncertain
Finally, wonder whether certain tutorials are getting hint of the results upfront as some of their communications in last 10 or more days are scaring and could be adding more pressure on students’ mind. Trust ACCA must have noted this one also but not sure whether any steps being initiated!…
ACCA need to see everything but not only Link Theory!!!
All the best to you all

Agree with your first point. Personally I start my new job on Monday 15th which I’m excited about, however I’m nervous about my SBR result coming at midnight UK time! I’ll try my best not to stay up and wait till the morning. It would make this process much easier if results came out Friday evening. Is there some kind of department/email we can send requests to?

Is there some kind of department/email we can send requests to?I definitely think Monday is the worst time to get results and would prefer it on a Friday – I work with people who sit ACA and they get their results on a Friday. You cannot enjoy the weekend with the dreaded thought of exam results looming and then it sets you up for a bad week if you do fail.
