Just gave the LW-ENG exam today and scored 72%. Got to say some questions were difficult. The section B was easy, but about 10/11 mcqs in Section A were sooo difficult. Heads up to everyone, make sure you read the exception rule to the law of privity contract and the veil lift of corporation, and insolvency of companies plus directors disqualification. The wordings were very different to as per BPP/Kaplan/OTs. Good Luck

    Well done on your success!

However, there’s no point in trying to point other students in the directions that you have indicated! The exam changes every time as questions are selected at random from a substantial bank of questions

The best advice that you could give is for future students that face the Law exam to just practice, practice and then practice some more … endless hours going through the questions in a revision kit (as well as watching the videos and repeated readings of the course notes)

    But, again, well done

Thank you, and yes sir, you are right, practice is essential. I just wanted to give a heads up to the students that they also need to read some of these areas in more concentration as the exam could vary the wordings of the statements very well.
Btw thank you for your lectures and the flashcards. I was able to cover alot of portion I was forgetting by going over and over again on the flashcards and practise questions/mock.

Hello. Dear opentution_team. Can you help me please, that ACCA Corporate and Business Law (ENG) lectures’s 1st Chapter – Structure of The Legal System – Civil Law, Common Law, Criminal Law [29m] are the same with GLO variant. Because GLO lectures begin grom Sharia LAW. Can I learn 1st chapter from ENG variant lectures ?

I’m checking … I’ll get back to you but, on the face of it, the simple answer is “No”

Taghi, did you actually check and open the Global variant lecture or did you simply look at the front page and see that both English and Global appeared on the title page?

If you open the global variant lecture you’ll see that it kicks off with Sharia Law

    OK?

Just passed the Law English paper with 74% yesterday. I wouldn’t say it was hard, but quite a few questions definitely were thinkers. Thank you so much Mike, wouldn’t have been possible without your lectures.

Passed Law with 72%, using only Open Tuition. Thank you so much. I remembered the *concepts* behind many of the stories told throughout the lectures & that helped tremendously.

    Hello Mr Mike,

Took LW ENG today and got 64%. Though a bit lower than my hope but still thankful that I passed. Thanks to you and Opentuition.

I’m sitting the Law exam in March and I’m not sure how the computer based exam is. Are they all multiple choice questions or is there a written part too?

Passed ENG Law today with 58%! Thank you Mike Little and Opentuition! Would have liked to score higher, however quite a few questions came up regarding the latest entries to the syllabus which I didn’t revise due to owning the old study text. Glad it’s done now!

Well done Saif – keep up the good work

(Which new syllabus changes are not covered by the course notes and video lectures?)

Thank you, it’s a great feeling! Sorry I meant nothing against the lectures and notes, that was all perfect thanks! I practiced with the 2014 Kaplan exam kit and I think the wording just threw me off quite a few q’s in the live exam. Onto FM now
