53%, phew! Very hard week at work leading up to it. Didn’t manage to cover all the lectures. Rather jammy.

As with the other exams, watch the lectures and try some practice exams and you should be fine.

I received 83% and I am super happy about it.
Studying for it was very hard. I mainly used Kaplan book and exam kit. And this book was incredibly hard to understand.
Thank you to Open Tuition. I didn’t watch all lectures. Only the ones I struggled with after reading a textbook and I have to say it translated the concepts into human language. after listening to some lectures I was able to understand the textbook 🙂

Many others before you have passed with just OpenTuition notes and lectures combined with (very, very) extensive use of a revision kit

I appeared for the September paper. Got 83%. Very happy with my result. The paper was 5/10 in terms of difficulty.. Used both BPP and Kaplan books to study. Solved both Kits. There is a lot to memorize in this paper otherwise nothing is too difficult to understand. Can be done on ur own without a tutor.

ALL exams can be done ‘on your own’ and none of them need a tutor

It’s just that the help from a tutor makes learning that much easier

Thank you Mr Mike l managed to pass LW Eng variant with 71%, l used opentuition notes, practice questions and videos. For practice l mainly used Bpp then Kaplan and Becker kits. Question practice is very important though questions might not come exactly as in the kit but your answering technique will improve. With help of opentuition l am done with skills modules, now on OBU. Thank you Mr Mike.

Passed today with 71% global variant.

    Tips:
Study the entire textbook at least three times.

Each time you finish a section attempt questions ( both opentuition and test kit )

After the first two repetitions add mock exams ( both opentuition and available specimen from acca site ) in the mix to gauge your understanding.

Take notes on the issues you did not answer correctly and prioritise those at your revisions.

    Exam strategy

Do not be hasty about going through the questions. If a question proves hard flag it and return to it later. Do not leave any questions unanswered though.

After you are done with going through all questions hopefully you should have about 40 mins on the clock.

Prioritise flagged questions ( you should not have more than 7-8 questions flagged as problematic )

Use no more than 20 mins for those.

Utilise the remaining 20 mins to go through all questions skipping the problematic ones.

Each an every one is quite different so beat in mind that while this worked for me it might not work for everyone.

As a general rule do not let too much time pass by between your studying sessions as concepts are easy to forget.

Lastly, set a deadline by booking exams. You might be tempted to postpone your exams. Don’t do this. Set a deadline routinely do what you can. There are other more complex modules waiting.

    Best of luck to all.

Thank you opentuition for providing all the materials you do.
