    Hi all,

Need serious input on my June 2021 attempt…I only managed to attempt 83 marks in paper….1st question went well, 2nd question completed with average quality and 3rd one considerable part was left due to ill time management.

Further, I attempted 1st question with right exam technique.

Do I have any chances? Honest opinion please..

Why not mate it’s the quality of your answers that matters not the amount of numbers you have attempted

I’m grateful that you guys responded in a manner that maintains my confidence as results are around the corner and I’m feeling very anxious.

Well I also attempted 84 in SBR and got 52 in past…But AAA is different…It is much of discursive paper where you only gain marks if your point is in the marking scheme of the examiner…In AAA, it is more vulnerable to go off the hook while writing points.

I attempted AAA before and at that time I was able to complete only 84 marks of paper and got 47 for it…but at that time I was unaware of the right exam techniques…This time I applied them largely in question 1….I don’t know but my confidence is shaking right now.

It happens to everyone as the result day approaches near we all start to fear and negative thoughts starts hovering in our mind but don’t worry everything will be fine I’m also waiting for my SBL result and feeling very nervous.

Best of luck for your SBL results….SBL pass rates are usually fine and I believe you’ll get away with it….I think we just need to relax as what is done can not be undone…The results now are not in our control so why to make a fuss about it…I think we should just act like a spectator…The ball is in examiner’s hand now….Cheers!

    @fella

In March 2021 seating, I attempted only 68% of the SBR paper, nothing could have convinced me that I would pass, I was expecting about 35%. I wasn’t studying for my next paper AFM Cuz I knew I would rewrite SBR. on Results day I was shocked that I had 53%. My happiest pass ever. So yes, you attempted quite enough and I think you will pass.

Currently waiting for my AFM results

    Hi
Under communication preferences for include in the list of passed finalist, my friend option was NO and mine was YES by default. Everything under communication preference is same. Why it is so? confusing and scary.

@Fahien – see the section “How do I get a copy of my data or update my preferences?” here http://www.accaglobal.com/my/en/footertoolbar/privacy/data-protection.html if you want to change the preferences. Assuming ACCA’s default is in – at some stage your friend has opted out.

Honestly, I am tired of being tired and I am just hoping for the best. I made sure to have attempted all questions in SBR but it was a very different and tough exam. I don’t know if my attempts were good enough but I just wanted to make sure I attempt for conscience sake. My attempts obviously were not complete and I don’t know if it was right and that’s my fear here. I am really hoping the best, favour.

Well there is no doubt that some versions of SBR paper in June sitting were mind boggling and difficult. I even heard that of some digital assets being tested this time around.

According to PQ magazine poll, SBR was the most difficult paper in June 2021.

I hope those appeared in SBR will pass. Best of Luck from my side!

SBR and Even P2 back in the time was a very difficult paper as there are a lot of technicality that are tested. However the pass rate is quite high so in terms it is easier to pass the the optional papers.

According to OT’s poll (which is perhaps more representative of students globally) SBR was hardest https://opentuition.com/topic/which-june-2021-acca-exam-was-the-hardest-instant-polls-results

Guys, SBR was really hard. It was really unusual with the q1 and other cryptocurrency questions and unusual ethical question.
I just try to switch off the head and do not think about it until Monday.

I always get butterflies on the Sunday of results impending, but I have butterflies very early this time! All my PERs are now signed off and I await my final result for AAA. This will be the longest few days of waiting for sure!

    Good luck everyone.

My nerves are kicking in early this time around too and it’s not even my last exam.

Seems a lot of people found SBR difficult. I’m not sure if this comforts me or not!!! At least I’m not alone though!
