AM REALLY SURPRISED OF LATE CONCERNING THE RATE AT WHICH ACCA CONTINUALLY FAIL STUDENTS BUT CONTINUES TO INCREASE THE EXAMS FEES PER SITTING.I CONSIDER THIS PRACTICE TO BE SO INHUMANE CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT THESE FEES ARE REALLY HIGH FOR THE AVERAGE STUDENT TO PAY.I WAS REALLY SURPRISED THAT THEY COULD FAIL ME CONSIDERING THE MUCH EFFORT I PUT INTO THE LAST SITTING BUT THEY JUST FAILED ME BY JUST 4MARKS IS REALLY DISHEARTENING.

I need to let u know that u are not alone. The rate of failure is really alarming just the same way the fees are alarming.Paper P5 was really a disaster last diet.It was as though the questions were prepared intentionally to fail students and get more fees.Am personally begining to lose confidence in the system. Its still unexplainable why fees increase every diet and why the difference between the early payment fees and standard fees is that much as i do not see what they are tryying to encourage here.As one is concluding exams, you are practically paying for another almost immediately. This in my opinion is very inconsideraate of the ACCA body.
March 22, 2012 at 12:10 pm #95303guys, pls take heart!
obviously acca is finding it difficult to cope with the law of supply & demand here. i dont seem to comprehend why the fee will be on the increase per diet & yet failure is on the increase too.
in my last two posts, i made it clear that acca should charge less for re-take exams & arrangement should be made for students to sit the same exam a month after the release of result. it only fair for acca to look into this asap. the fact that acca has more students doesnt mean other must suffer for it.
acca taught equity , they should & must be seen as doing equity.

by the way.. ACCA is focusing on “Ethics” so they should and be seen “ethical”
I would suggest that.. Nobody has to cover 100 % syllabus… The important thing is whatever you are covering, you should be 100 % confident and comfortable with it.
