I chose D the last one. That 3year fixed loan in euro. I assumed that economic risk is a long term transaction Risk.

I still have no idea about centralized, never seen in the F9 study. but unlucky me this means I lost all the discussion marks 18 out of 40

Calculation NPV very perfect question for me did all the working may have lost only 1 or 2 marks

    settlement discount was ok

Was your npv question with different probabilities for demand? And Wacc as cost of capital?

I had 6 marks on Islamic finance, Wacc, expected values NPV ( I inflated sales cost and working capital?)
    Came to around 9100
Then 8 marks on sensitivity analysis and some more on benefit of lease vs buying with debt finance
My section b was around fx and calculating mv of debentures
Many things in section a and b that I have never heard of!!

Completely messed up on the centralisation just waffled on and on. Had no idea what they wanted.

Anyone got the last question on special and general inflation and how it can be used in DCF investment appraisal.

Today I took my ACCA exam of paper F9 Financial Management CBE. I do attempt all my questions and was reviewing my exam but suddenly a computer screen got black out and my exam just got vanished from the screen. It was about 36 minutes left in exam ending time. I immediately make complaint to invigilators and they took lot of time to sort out the issue but they simply cant sort out the situation. Even the ending time lapsed and all students went but I was still there and the invigilators still cannot sort out the issue. This is a very terrible situation for me after attempting my exam for more than 2 hours it was just vanished and cannot be retrieved by ACCA, this is not my fault it is the fault of ACCA new CBE system which is not reliable. I spend lot of time & money for this exam and being an ACCA student I expect quality exam conditions.

It appears that your exam is similar to mine? Regarding working capital managemen? Is the Company overcapitalized?

yeah, same answer like me. I do not remember exactly the answer of NPV. I am just confused that as the price and fixed costs are in nominal term so I decide not to inflate it but only working capital. My NPV is derived at $1,9xx,xxx

I think our questions were different because I didn’t have any working capital in the cash flows.

It seem that they are different. My questions regarding working capital has the information that gross profit margin is 20% and NPV has the information that WC in real term

Same here, I don’t remember the exact answer if the discount method was used but the factoring was (80,000).
