Can you tell what the specific question about because I don’t remember about the answer I chose. But I think “investor not making rational decisions” and “random walk theory” is not my answer.

    Any other questions you remember?

I don’t remember at all, but I don’t know the question for that answer pretty well, so my choice was to guess it.

Could anyone explain why we shouldn’t have included the fixed costs? Coz unless mentioned somewhere in the question, they must have been incremental as they were even nominal ?

Did you work out PI numbers from past papers or the revision kit? I could have sworn it was PV/Initial investment! But I don’t know, I could be wrong

I feel like I fail again. 6th time!!! I went for CBE option and it was total disaster. Don’t think I made the right decision doing that. I felt lost between the computer screen and the scrap paper, also wording of the questions were not straight forward for me and I had to guess what the examiner wants and vise versa when question was clear the answers sounded misleading, also want to mention that the space on the desk was limited. When you are nervous these things matter.

With the questions where they specify how the answer should be rounded up, i.e. the one about TREP they stated that it should be rounded up to 2 dp and after my calculations when I got exact figure something like $9.8 it looked that this answer is wrong, first of all because computer didn’t accept this figure and I ended up guessing (again there were no options to choose from, answer had to be typed in)

The money market hedge question led me to nowhere because I couldn’t arrive to the listed options. I know this topic very well and I don’t understand where I was wrong. I had an answer close to $205,… which wasn’t there at all. Again ended up guessing, and as far as I can see in the above posts I made wrong guess …

I found part C easy for me, and I probably could get full marks for them if I didn’t spent so much time playing around MCQs. In those questions I completed the calculations but didn’t have a chance to write theoretical part of them. I wrote only about capital rationing.
There were some other questions which I cannot recall at the moment.
But well, I can already predict the result.

what was the equity capitalisation in section B mcqs. 251.M something?
Also if interest rates are to go high in dinar and euro, we will not take out euro denominated loans would we?

Also agency problem means share holder wealth is not being maximized. Right?

If the same question…I thought we were paying euro so in money market hedge we would deposit euro and borrow dollars, so i thought we would not borrow euro.

For agency problem, I thought that Agency problem may not necessarily lead to shareholder wealth not being maximized….because there was another answer I preferred which I don’t remember.

On the question with the agency problem, I too didn’t see this as the answer coz I also thought the other seemed more plausible! I think it was D? I don’t really remember the exact answer, sorry

The MCQS in section A AND section B were both tricky and hard to even guess! Wasted so much time doing the MCQS and at last, not getting the correct answer! I hope they are lenient while correcting our papers. It was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT for me. I practised all questions thrice and I was so confident, specially about the MCQs.

Section C was ok but for ques 31. WACC : what the hell was the rate 4% or sth on treasury bills? Is it risk free interest? I don’t know. No clue. WACC I got 10.1? I cannot remember.

Ques32. NPV was Positive at 2238k?2278k? cannot remember! Theory parts were not too bad. Wrote whatever I could remember as I was totally confused and upset by that time.
