I took this as a CBE and found the whole process was very smooth. I can type a lot faster than I can write so I was able to give much more detailed answers. The new format of the exam worked well too.Hi, did you get your results today too?
September 5, 2016 at 6:15 pm #338066Is anyone going to complain to ACCA for the mistake on the question numbering as it definitely took a chunk out of my time and stopped my train of thought when I was interrupted
September 5, 2016 at 6:18 pm #338067i dont get why so many people here so confused about the numbering system….it was quiet simple 16, 17, 18 – where 1, 2 ,3 …..what was so complicated….if that was the most confusing thing in the paper then you will have done fine….
September 5, 2016 at 6:18 pm #338068Overall, I found the exam tricky. No corporate governance, external audit vs internal audit. MCQ questions weren’t that nice except Ethics one. Overall would take 50 now.

September 5, 2016 at 6:19 pm #338070what was the ethics MCQ??
September 5, 2016 at 6:22 pm #338072well i didnt experience that it was a 30 second statement if even…
September 5, 2016 at 6:36 pm #338076that could have went on but if i got distracted that easy i would be distracted every time somebody asked for extra paper or to go to the bathroom…you just have to zone that kind of stuff out.
September 5, 2016 at 7:14 pm #338084look i not trying to start an argument or anything but in my opinion i think its a bit of a cop-out. if your going to use the 5 minutes at the beginning of an exam as the reason for failing then you probably where not going to pass in the first place. If you could get your head back into the exam for the remaining 3hrs and 10minutes there was another reason for it….
September 5, 2016 at 7:53 pm #338093I found quite tricky the MCQ but most probably due to lack of time as I left them at the end … The open questions were not that difficult, however blank brain on the procedures to apply to revaluation of PPE. The brother of the director being involved in the revaluation put me off.

Yeah,Q16… finding the deficiencies was tricky! And annoyingly time consuming

Q16- was not easy to find deficiencies compared to past exam questions, anyone else find this?September 5, 2016 at 10:38 pm #338126@hsn007 said:
Hi, did you get your results today too?It was the same content as the paper you did Harry, I will get the result on the 17th October like everyone else.
Where it was useful was for providing answers in table format for the risk and control question and the presentation of the answers in general. Being able to select multiple choice answers at the click of a button was nice too.
September 5, 2016 at 11:34 pm #338131until u get the results trust me
September 5, 2016 at 11:38 pm #338132I had to look hard for the deficiencies and some of mtc was hard.
September 5, 2016 at 11:44 pm #338134true I hated MCQ
September 6, 2016 at 1:14 am #338136MCQs are too tricky when two answers are close. Pick the wrong one and lose 2 marks after mulling over it for 2 minutes.

I found it difficult as well. The sales system itself was quite tricky to understand.
MCQ’s were also quite confusing.September 6, 2016 at 5:18 am #338149The invigilator told me to bubble 1 for Q 16 , 2 for Q17 and bubble 3 for Q 18 …. It seems that is how ACCA rules seemed to be…
September 6, 2016 at 7:24 am #338180Hi all,
Any one could tell me what was the best answer for the mcq of ethics which has the 4 options:
Confidentiality
professional competence
Confidentiality
professional competenceUnfortunately i dont remember the second column.
September 6, 2016 at 8:46 am #338191i think i did D Pofession competence – train new team……something on those lines
September 6, 2016 at 9:28 am #338194Yes… Proff competence – Additional training
September 6, 2016 at 9:31 am #338195And then one was for ethics…. I think it was:
Providing taxation services – Self review
Recruit a member of the Co – Self interest
Represent at authorities – Advocacy - AuthorPosts
