Still regret How The hell I Selected 100000 Dr …
Was I Mad ?Section C was OK for me, for Q32 my total assets and liabilities did not match, but I did all the workings including unwinding the deferred consideration from the retained earnings calculation. I found the MCQ’s hard though. Will take a pass any day.
The mcq No. 12 was really confusing for me. I also put C at the end.
I am really surprised about the fact that there was absolutely nothing about the statement of cash flow. No even one MCQ. On the other hand there were various MCQs about consolidation of FS which also was one of the section C questions.
The focus of this paper was mainly on consolidation of FS and ratios which featured in section A and C.
Goodwill was Not Negative …..
And Not Only Cashflow ..
Taxation EPS was completely missed …

I guess no …Its 100 cr. Goodwill wasn’t negative. Can anyone pls tell me how do v account for issuing cost of equity share ????

i selected 1500 to PnL @adam94
There was no share exchange in the calculation of goodwill. I managed to calculate all the requirements for consolidated SOFP, however I forget to plug in the Goodwill amount into the F/ST.
I was also unsure as to how to deal with the revelations and the inventory adjustment.
All in all, Q31 and Q32 were fair but I feel due to its simplicity I made some silly mistakes.
With regards to the negative goodwill in the multiple choice, my answer was CR 100000.
Please share your thoughts on the above.
