I just used the OT notes, lectures and a BPP revision kit, and went through most of the technical articles by ACCA website.

DO NOT GIVE UP. I passed everything first time until I got to F7.

It took me 5 (yes five!!!) attempts to pass F7 & 3 attempts to pass F9. And I have just passed P1 & P3 first time from June.

There are just some exams that take a while to click and then others just click straight away. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad accountant or you’re simple. It just means you should try different ways of learning or a different approach to revision because the one you have isn’t working. Definitely don’t give up.

Keep going and I know you will be back on here telling everyone how you have finally nailed F7 & F8!!! 🙂

Passed with 81%. Very happy with all the lectures from OT; this has really helped as a strong foundation for all of my studies so it is hugely appreciated.

Practice consolidated statements until you’re blue in the face and can get full marks on NCI, goodwill…etc

Hi lynseyb2009 – I would say with 4 exam sittings a year take them one at a time. Read the study book, I usually use Kaplan for maths based papers and BPP for written. Then review the lectures on Open Tuition to fill in anything you may not have understood fully. Then practice questions over and over and don’t forget MCQs are important to practice as they are worth 40%. For the main questions write them out, where you make an error, note the theory of why that was incorrect and then try to not make the same mistake. Short notes really help me when doing exam practice. Good luck in September 🙂

Hi, I will give 4th time f7 and the f5 1st time in September only by using bpp and OT. Could you please advice for an immediate action plan for f7? I fail with 48 last time. I am trying to be a mam in the same time and I want to do some hours every day in order to pass both without stress and constructive reading! Congrats to all, who passed and patience to all who has failed!
