I have seen many students fail the same exam a few times, and they went on to become ACCA affiliates and go into the field of finance.
April 18, 2017 at 1:09 pm #382407@voldemortsapprentice failing ACCA papers doesn’t mean you actually dont know it,sometimes its the grace of God and your application of the exam question to the exam exam…most people use their textbook knowledge to answer scenario based questions leaving the main scenario behind,it doesn’t mean that they dont know it.
April 18, 2017 at 1:11 pm #382002No problems. Thanks for letting me know.

Passed with 67% and still haven’t failed an ACCA exam! (I’ve completed 8 now)I’ll be honest with people, how do you fail these exams, they’re not particularly hard if you put the work in?
If you’re doing an exam every 3 months simply do this:
1nd month = study
2nd month = revise what you have studied
2-3 weeks from exam = past papersIf I was failing the same exam multiple times i would seriously ask myself whether i can cut it as an ACCA affiliate and a real life finance professional
It would have been better if you had not posted any comment at all, than for you to come on here and post an arrogant, demeaning, and demoralising comment. Instead of tearing them down, you should encourage those of us who are struggling with resits. Resits aren’t from out of this world — they are normal. So far, I’ve had a total of four resits in two papers, two for each paper, but those, like flat tires, haven’t stopped me from continuing with my ACCA journey. You really ought to apologise for your posted comment. Apologising would say a lot about you. Not apologising would say even more.
April 18, 2017 at 2:20 pm #382449I am sorry if I have offended anyone but if you put the work in you pass, it’s pretty black and white.
April 18, 2017 at 2:21 pm #382450Passed first time with 52%. Actually felt the exam went really well so was a little suprised with 52, but ill take it all day long!

I am sorry if I have offended anyone but if you put the work in you pass, it’s pretty black and white. To be honest i kinda agree with this. That being said there are always going to be reasons why people fail an exam. i failed my first exam for ACCA (F5) but this was down to me. I was ill with Flu the week before my exam, but mainly failed because i went in quite cocky becuase i had completed AAT lvl 2,3 and 4 without failing any. In all honesty not revising anywhere near as much as my classmates.
Now ACCA is another beast entirely, but is still just down to the person being focused and setting aside the right amount of time to complete the exam.
April 18, 2017 at 3:25 pm #38246861% Passed. I thought it would be worse.
April 18, 2017 at 5:00 pm #382507Passed with 51%. Thank you for the lecture. It helped me greatly!

April 19, 2017 at 12:07 pm #382612Second time marginal fail with 48p, very frustrating, but it’s time to think positive and focus on June session- thanks Opentuition for the support.
ACCA pass rates were generally down for March session vs prior period, especially for F6 the difference was significant.April 19, 2017 at 7:34 pm #382700To all those who failed, I felt the paper was significantly harder compared to previous papers & the questions not like previous papers in section C. Although I did pass I was worried I had failed due to the paper being harder in my opinion. The pass rate reflected this as it was the lowest F6 pass rate in at least 10 years! https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/pass-rates-for-acca-qualifications.html So dont give up,hopefully the next paper will be fairer. Good luck to all on the journey!
April 20, 2017 at 12:17 am #382758Hey guys congratz for passing f6 exam . Can you tell me among F6 or F7 which one is doable in 5-6 weeks? thanks
April 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm #382978Passed with 54%, I will take it though, studying with 2 young kids is very challenging!!
Well done to all that passed and to all those that didn’t, the advice I would give is:
1. Ensure that you understand each chapter back to font.
2. Do as many questions to practice.
3. Understand how individuals and companies differ, that for me was key.Good luck and as someone more intelligent than me once said….

April 21, 2017 at 2:08 pm #382980@voldemortsapprentice What an unbelievably arrogant and demeaning post. You should take a long hard look at yourself, you maybe good at passing exams, however your empathy for other students is severely lacking.
April 21, 2017 at 5:02 pm #382996I was not able to make it….but I enjoyed opentuition….this is about my 3rd time for F6
