Really happy at 58%. A mix of training provider and Opentuition materials and a couple of good mates, made this possible in such a short space of time.
Well done to the rest of you.

42 % fail
August 8, 2014 at 10:39 am #188353Got 46%. Alhamd lillah.
When it was 2 weeks close to exam I wasn’t sure about attending exam hall because I was expecting 25%. So I took 10 days holiday from my full time job and switched off my mobile and internet excess. A total disconnection from the world. I slept 6 hours and studied rest of the time for F4 and F6. I took little time with family and a 5 minute break every hour. I read answers in Kaplan kit. But BPP was better. I practiced Opentution flash cards several times. Now I am very happy with result. I could at least attend the exam hall . Actually I expected more because the exam was easy for me as I completed all the questions but one. I was managed to do only a part of that question. I can’t remember that one now.
I passed my other paper, F4. Got 54% which is much better result than I hoped (30%) one week prior to exam.
My advise is spend 1 hour per day per subject in addition to class. I guaranty that u will get more than 70%. Always keep one chapter ahead of your teacher so that you can ask questions from the teacher and clear all the doubts.

August 8, 2014 at 12:36 pm #188455Hi Mat!
U could have done this earlier. Go to http://www.accaglobal.com >> myACC and login. In the Exam & results section u will see results. Otherwise in the account information u can register ur email address. ACCA will send the results, Student account magazine and other information time by time. But these days u may get difficulties logging because ACCA server is busy with thousands of attempts from students. If u have already registered ur email address with myACCA, check ur mail.August 8, 2014 at 12:49 pm #188468AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0

August 8, 2014 at 12:52 pm #188472Hi saidu2.
I have 2 advices for u.
You better ask yourself whether accounting is the area u love. Without interest to the field u it would be very hard to continue with someone who don’t love. U will know ur interested field by understanding most topics u have covered online/news papers. I mean are u reading health related, management related, IT related, business related, law related articles? What are the people u want to be with? With managers, accountants, doctors etc.
Continue with the field u love and interested to read, ask, explore. Ur time is not yet wasted. Chose the field u love and restart.
But if u really want continue with ACCA, start practicing with Text and Kits of the selected subjects from January or June. Never wait for March or August. Spend one hour additional to the classes per hour per day. Practice, practice and practice Kits at least 3 times before exam. I failed because I didn’t practice.
