Second attempt and I failed. I did however increase my marks this time with using open tuition but is more annoying as failed by 1 mark. Does anyone know if it is worth paying for the review. 49% and fail π
February 8, 2015 at 8:54 am #22652275% – Thank you very much open tuition!
February 8, 2015 at 8:57 am #226528I failed but I worked hard but my hard work wasnt good enough, I will make it in June…..

Christina, don’t pay for the revew. It’s a waste of money. Keep it for a revision course or the new material.
I pay for the admin review last sitting (June 2014) as I failed F5 with 49% like you in F6.
1 – They only check that the marking process has been performed correctly.
2 – They tell you the question you fail or pass without giving you the actual mark which is sometimes even more confusing. For eg, for me it was like that:
Q1 – Pass
Q2 – Pass
Q3 – Fail
Q4 – Pass
Q5 – Fail3 – Anyway if you have between 46 and 49% I think the script is rechecked at least 3 or 4 times by different markers before the final mark
4 – The cost is Β£52 and you don’t get your script back. It would have been useful for us if we could get it back to check the marks or actually see where we fail.
Hope that is useful. I know it is frustrating but there is nothing you can do except start to revise for the next sitting…
February 8, 2015 at 10:07 am #226609Thanks for the advice kassy. I will be sitting F7 in June and either resit F6 in June or September. I will get it next time and reading other forums knowing people do fail a few times before passing gives me a bit of a boost and determination! Onwards and upwards.

February 8, 2015 at 6:12 pm #226953Congratulations to all who passed. I have been down about failing for the second time today. How did you pick yourself up from a fail? I just keep kicking myself as if I have 5 more mins I could have possibly got that extra mark.
I am thinking of sitting F7 in June and re-sitting F6 in September. Does anyone have any experience with sitting two exams at same time and how did you split your time for studying?February 8, 2015 at 8:02 pm #22700185% UK tax, only Open Tuition lectures and BPP exam kit.
February 8, 2015 at 8:31 pm #227018I got 52, however I had prepared for more. The exam was complicated for me.
