    I never take this kind of hard exam though my all life, it destroyed my confidence and i thought i know every topic and accumulator points in the book and revision of practice well, but the revision exam questions with exam question is totally different style, I have no idea, why examiner is very harsh for students. ACCA f5 exam this time is a extremely hard and tricky style for me. For me, Section A is super hard, and Section B half of questions don’t know how to think and answer, Section C why 3E is big sections. I really want to know this season pass rate can over 40 or not? If it is lower than F8, that is so ridiculous. My heart broken after exam done.

    You are making me confused because isn’t the number of batches is 32 and actual hours worked is 10,384? It’s stated in the case

    The question say for six month sept to February that would be 16 batch.
    I can be wrong

    I worked so hard and did so many mocks. That felt so different to everything I practised. Especially section A and the 3es question in section C. Def knocked my confidence

    If i remember clearly i thought 32 batch was from feb to September.
    My reasons is that the learning rate start from September not from February

    Well March last year was 38%, I would assume it will be around there or lower as the overall students feedback not being optimistic.
    FLORALIN, don’t give up! Acca is hard everyone knows it and that is the beauty of it, I have failed F6 paper twice before pass and found the tax paper a lot drier.
    I hope you did enough to get good marks but if not just carry on studying . The performance management skills is mandatory requirements to pursue a good position on the career ladder.

    Hello Thiago, thank you very much for your kindly reply. I will keep going study, I have booked F6 in June, if F5 unfortunately fail, I will take F5 in June as well. I just need do more practice and mock in F5, and understand more in every points in book, hope next time more lucky. 🙂

    I’m planning on starting to study f6 from Monday as so long to wait for result. I used kaplan text and thought I really understood it all. Not sure what I’ll do if fail – might try doing it june too. Hate seeded questions as can’t even second guess how well think done

    you confused…42% it means that only 42% from 100% of all students in the world who sat exam passed it with 50% and above.

    Hi Oden, I see where your coming from.
    The way i saw it, there was an incrememtal increase between the first and second batch. I know in the table the second batch there was a 1 in the number of units produced. As it is an incremental increase, this represents the second batch!. from that point it accumilates. Hence the workings:

    10368/32=324
    324=400r3
    0.81=r3
    r=93.21%

    Oh. I see your point it is not the second batch. there was no incremental

    Remember that as cum ouput double the cum ave time fall by a given percentage

    So there are two first Batches?. Thats how i saw it and assumed it was an increment. Remember in incremental tables the second batch is always represented as 1 unit. But I see your point

    I agree that you rank per scarce resource and tables were first. My question definitely asked how many tables because I spent about 5 minutes on it scratching my head :((

    They are separated batch for each month.

    To illustrate

    September, say that you are working on a new project, generally it would take longer because you are new to the product e.g 400 hours

    October, you are now more familiar with the same product, generally it would take less hours than when it was your first time e.g 320 hours.

    The objective is to find the rate of learning, how quick do they work. Thats why you apply the step

    Such an unfair exam. Tested on very small areas of the syllabus. Totally did not expect a section C full CVP question and the EHT hospitals question on values. 40 marks on them???? crazy! The core areas of the course such as relevant costing, transfer pricing, learning curve, pricing were not even tested at all, gutted as I spent a lot of time getting my head around those and skimmed over the theory, enough to answer MCQ’s on them. I sat the CBE afternoon exam. Was my first attempt and first acca exam and will be amazed if I’ve passed, will defo be a narrow one if I have.
