I chose 25$ for customer question
March 7, 2018 at 9:29 pm #441199Did anybody have a question that was so confusing something like 60% of 30% and 70% of 30% I’m sure it was a probability question took me a little while to get around that one
March 7, 2018 at 9:34 pm #4412022pm sitting had section C hospital and three Es and break even diagram to interpreted. Hated it more theory .
There was no learning rate, risk uncertainty and 2 or 3 mcq variances question.
There were 2 or 3 graphics to understand to get to answer .
Very strange paper.
March 7, 2018 at 9:35 pm #441204In section b throughput what was the TPAR.
March 7, 2018 at 9:40 pm #441205What did you write about the 3 e’s I just wrote very basic stuff :/
March 7, 2018 at 9:40 pm #441206how to calculate the learning rate and know when it stops
March 7, 2018 at 9:43 pm #441207Oh gosh I didn’t even include learning rate! I literally copied it from an early question where they described the 3 E’s and then I just added some bits on relating to the hospital performance

Now I’m getting really suspicious about why ACCA ask you about your learning providers when printing out the docket.I also got questions on the 3 Es and hospital.
March 7, 2018 at 10:03 pm #441213Hi colinjsweetman
Luck you! It was pretty bad that we got ACCA’S earplugs as a souvenir.
March 7, 2018 at 10:07 pm #441214You should first calculate revenue with probability then deduct expenses with probability.I dont remember exact number
March 7, 2018 at 10:08 pm #441215What did you find for contribution\sales ratio? 51% or 59?

March 7, 2018 at 10:36 pm #441222Yes i did the same but i dont know why i got 59%

Yes i did the same but i dont know why i got 59%Maybe calculation error. Its good to check number question twice to avoid mistake like these
March 7, 2018 at 10:48 pm #441224The 59% c/s was that 9am or 2pm?
March 7, 2018 at 11:06 pm #441226This paper makes me feel dumb….I know that I have a good grasp of what F5 is…but the way these questions are structured….it is set up for failure!!!GOSH
March 8, 2018 at 12:04 am #441232Did anyone realise how inefficient ACCA are, we went to three rooms before we sat at our computers everything took ages and we sat there waiting for ages.
A bit funny so much of the exam is about efficiency!!!
These computer exams are really not good!
March 8, 2018 at 12:34 am #441235That was it, Q41 ACCA is a machine of making money, in the short-term how profitable is the association doing. Sometime ago they realised that there were some non financial performance measures that would help boosting their pot. The association realised that for playing with people’s misery, failing candidates at the least once per paper and simply making the exam unattainable it would keep their pockets laughing through their teeth…..
Did anyone get this question done?
March 8, 2018 at 12:40 am #441236Anyway despite the joke and not knowing the results, I am immensely grateful for open tuition in particular to Sir John Moffat for all the content available to all of us students.
Many thanks

In section b throughput what was the bottleneck resources.anuual demand
March 8, 2018 at 3:41 am #441244Even when division A had external demand it didn’t sell those units at 14 to be. As far as I remember n that was the point I notes that after fixed cost addition there was a too high price charged for transfer which couldn’t be acceptible when there’s no external demand also it cannot be considered as minimum too even it was more than divi b could get from external. But still rule is to add cost incurred when no external market n that includes fixed cost . That’s what is bothering me..God knows what was the correct minimum transfer price. Ppr was hell bad for me overall.
March 8, 2018 at 3:43 am #441245I went for something like 3.75 allthogh I strongly beleive it wasn’t corect but incouldnt find a way to get cor re ct answers for tp question it was tricky .
March 8, 2018 at 3:47 am #441246It was canning. Are u sure of 2500 n did u get that question of variance which m talking about? It was somethin foe quarter 2 I beleive there were no actual figures given we had to calculate variance from other variances I couldn’t find a way to get to the answer. But I knew m bad at guessing even on 50% prob 🙁

I just want to say one thing.. Acca are getting unfair with the question asking style, their provide us with very few information’s and expects us to answer these question us making the right asumptions… How can that even be possible… in the Transfer pricing question part (b) they were asking that how much to sell internally and externally with the optimum benefit to the company and then in the question it was clearly written that Div B wants 150,000 of adaptors because it wasn’t utilizing its full production capacity, even with the demand of battery be like 180,000… Div A had 200,000 external demand as the question was taking me … it was clearly showing that Div A is full filling both Div B demand and External demand completely..
The i ask from the acca whats the point of asking this kind of question, are u guys trying to confuse us, or u guys dont have any other thing left to ask
