Operational adverse planning favourable
March 7, 2018 at 9:01 pm #441172I got operational and planning both favorable, I took the original budget worked without any LR involved as the director’s concern with the preparation of the budget by the trainee was that he did not consider the LR effect while preparing the budget.
March 7, 2018 at 9:07 pm #441173Found this paper a little easier to do to time than paper based have sat this paper 3 times 48% each time have actually had enough of f5 now
However the section A felt like it was never going to end … transfer price not to bad but q32 learning curves I just struggled to grasp what I was doing this is where a little extra time would have helpedThe fact we had extra questions as well that we do not get any marks for frustrated me I bet these were the easy ones haha !!
Sections B found not to bad anybody else think they did ok section b ?
March 7, 2018 at 9:08 pm #441174In section b throughput what was the bottleneck resources.
March 7, 2018 at 9:09 pm #441175I put canning ?and 2500 could be wrong

I don’t get it – some of your comments here are scaring me – I didn’t see a single learning rate questions, nor transfer price question. Only one question in Section A re: ROI and RI.
Was the learning rate and transfer price questions hidden somewhere?
Or do we have different exams? I took mine in London 2pm GMT
March 7, 2018 at 9:10 pm #441177Section b – chairs and tables, teachers and books and flexible budgeting- found B good!
March 7, 2018 at 9:11 pm #441178Yes, 90 is right. I guess. Also I remember that on operating statement of Div A in section C I got profit 100 for Div A, and something like 7890 for the group.
March 7, 2018 at 9:11 pm #441179I didn’t have transfer pricing either 2pm
March 7, 2018 at 9:12 pm #441180I sat mine Brighton 2pm has transfer pricing and learning curve both section c

Really? Crap – I was more about the mathsy questions (strong point) – the Hospital question about the three E’s was very general questioning – nothing specific really. The three Es was a theory based part of the course I’ve only seen as a Section A question so skimmed it.
March 7, 2018 at 9:16 pm #441186Are u sure that you sat paper F5?))
March 7, 2018 at 9:16 pm #441187To be fair the exam itself wasn’t the hardest one, I found F6 a tougher paper.
The only problem was at the exam venue (WHICH BY THE WAY YOU SHOULD AVOID TO SIT ANY EXAM THERE= ACCA – Kensington & Chelsea College (N909) Kensington & Chelsea College Wornington Road London W10 5QQ) was that a gang of anarchist teenagers started to play drums and bass on the floor above our heads. I feel sorry for the other students in the room that didn’t stand up against it,perhaps they were terrified about the exam itself. The discussion questions were really impossible to think through because of the noise, after much dedication and money spent on the exam and subscription, it is really a joke the only place available to sit a exam is a noisy squat. I would expect more from “ACCA”, really thinking about changing to ACA. So disrespectful!March 7, 2018 at 9:17 pm #441188AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0

Now I’m getting really suspicious about why ACCA ask you about your learning providers when printing out the docket.
March 7, 2018 at 9:18 pm #441189I dont think that poeple from different parts of world get different questions for the same paper. It is really interesting 🙂

Hey Thiago – sat mine in Kensington College too but I must have been in a different room – ours was quiet, but for some reason made us sit in front of the computers for 40 minutes doing nothing before the exam
which I found odd.March 7, 2018 at 9:19 pm #441191What were the main areas covered In the morning session? I sat the 2pm one, thank god there was no demand curve stuff !! Had variances, some throughput, performance review type question and abc.
I thought it was okay but who knows!March 7, 2018 at 9:20 pm #441192What about questions of section B?
March 7, 2018 at 9:23 pm #441193Was that 9am or 2pm sitting?
March 7, 2018 at 9:24 pm #441195I found 3es hard too – I’m much better with numbers
March 7, 2018 at 9:25 pm #441196I had the same problem with understanding the question. Bank question was awful. Customers 1000 each year .
