    Hi all,

Does someone have answers to the ACCA F4 December 2014 global variant examination? I have seen that the English variant answers are available on the website but not the global ones.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dimitri

You’re absolutely right – I have overlooked the global variant paper.

I’ll try to get time to look at it today (Monday)

    Hi Mike,

you are probably extremely busy, but it would be really nice for all of us who sat the Global variant, if we could have the answers.

    Thank you in advance

Q 14 Suggested in Eng Var is B but in GLO is C
Q 20 Suggested in Eng Var is B but in GLO is A
Q 44 Suggested in Eng Var is burden of proof but you suggest Q21 is b standard of proof
Q 38 Suggested in GLO Var is C I think this is not an offer
Q 39 Suggested in GLO Var is A I think the buyer is responsible not the seller to ensure
Q 44 Suggested in GLO Var is B I think in civil law judges dont make law only interpret.

14 is difficult! I checked this up on the Internet after I’d posted the English variant answers and am now happy to accept that it’s a combination of subjective and objective.

As to which of the two is correct, I am guessing that it’s to increase liability – I stand to be corrected!

20 I’ve already contacted Admin last week and asked to change the English answer to A. But it’s a silly question (in my humble opinion!)

38 Carlill v Carbolic Smoke Ball

39 so you agree with me!

44 I eliminated option 1 straight away – about relying heavily on statute law. That immediately meant that option 3 was correct. The choice left to me was between options 2 and 4 and I was very unhappy with option 4.

So that left me with 2 and 3 leading to answer B

    Ok?
