Sanamaryam, I studied with Kaplan, 6 evening sessions and all I got with that was their text book! I made sure I covered every topic in that book. We had two assessments to do which helped with the studies and would prepare you well for the paper format! All I can really at is just practice questions and cover all topics!

Sat F4 (Eng) CBE this morning. The examining centre had problems connecting to the ACCA servers so we had to go away and tried again two hours later – not good for the nerves!
But – passed with 72%.
Lots of the questions and answers seemed vague and unclear. I’m still glad I had the option of CBE as the prior written equivalent looked daunting.

Just sat the exam today and passed with 62%.
Overall there were a lot of questions that were ambiguous but that Is probably down to the fact that English is not my first language.
The multiple choice questions were testing a lot for fraudulent, wrongful trading, market abuse and partnership.
Employment law was also included a lot from what I can recall.
Was a bit harder than I expected.Good look to everybody!
I passed yesterday with 69%. Took 45 mins but (like others have said) I thought it was a bit touch and go as I submitted them for answering! Onwards and upwards now and good luck to all others sitting the CBE in the future.

I have booked my F4 for the 20th of February. Was just going to ask did you learn any of the case studies? Or was they no need? I asked a tutor on the forum n they said there is no point in learning them but just wanted to make sure.Thanks

i am doing f4 in june 2015 just print the syllabus and found out that the exam is a CBE but i am confused because it stated that paper exam will be dec 2015 and june 2015 and CBE will start nov 19 2014 i am not following can someone explainI cleared CBE of F4 paper(Eng) today 🙂 I am very grateful to Mike and opentution. I didn’t have spare time and money for tuition. Mike’s F4 notes and video lectures and BPP revision kit and a good deal of practice is my ammunition to gain a good result.

I passed this morning GLO, 73%. It took me an hour. I really recommend to buy the set of 3 practice tests from ACCA

I am booking the exam in a few weeks using Kaplan notes and the revision kit. From what I have read everyone seems to have done really well 🙂 hopefully I can too…
Are the questions mainly all knowledge and facts? Are the multi task questions similar to the previous exams where you select the appropriate answer from drop down boxes?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
