November 26, 2014 at 11:23 am #213406thats great congrats
how was the the exam? and how was the experience for f4 cbe
November 26, 2014 at 4:49 pm #213508Exam was a doddle compared to the old written exam as long as you knew a good amount of the material. 20 minutes 80%. Section B tested application slightly more than Section A which was nearly all recall. There was no reference to any cases, only one latin phrase had to be recognised (stare decisis). Overall a pain free ACCA exam
November 26, 2014 at 4:54 pm #213513its such a relief to hear that, i have so tense about this paper, i am planning to write in December.
i hope i also get a easy paper… thanks for your reply

Hi, is ACCA aware, that in some countries there is CBE technical problem for F4? We, acting as part-time students, normally get only 3-4 days study leave for each ACCA’s paper from work.
How can CBE centres accept our money, fix the schedule date, day and time for our exam well in advance? Then when we had already took leave and be prepared for the exam, the day before the exam, we receive a call or an e-mail saying that the exam is cancelled!!! This is very a stressing discouraging and demoralisating situation for us!!!!!
How can we again take leave from work for our this exam and study again, again and again, when the exam is reported each time.. The CBE exam though should have been started as from 19th of November 2014. When we will fail because of this situation, ACCA and ACCA’s CBE centres across the world will be fully responsible…. And you think this is flexible????
Hope to get an answer to this very annoying situation as student from your part and please report.
Thanking you all for your attention.
Regards.
November 28, 2014 at 5:51 pm #214168Hi, just done my CBE and it was really similar to the i assess mock, and phew passed only took just over 30 minutes to complete.
December 5, 2014 at 12:08 pm #217938How is it marked so quickly if there are 5 written questions? I ask as I am doing it myself on Tuesday.
December 6, 2014 at 4:46 pm #218941Those who have done the cbe for F4 should kindly share some of the questions.

Hi Im writing this exam on thursday. Can anyone tell me if the cbe exam questions were tested similar to that on option tuition? Im not sure why im getting pre-exam anxiety :/I sat it today. I got 69, but my feeling when I submitted the results told me that I was touch and go. I didn’t know whether I passed. The questions on this site were not the similar. I thought the actual version was harder. However, knowing all of the questions on his site inside out definitely helped.
December 9, 2014 at 6:54 pm #219851I took it last Friday, flunked by 1 mark. Going to attempt again tomorrow. I must say the test was a little harder than I expected. I wouldnt say I made a big effort like I usually do, I am more of F2, F5 person, with all the math n logic. But I have been working on it since Friday, and I am pretty confident about tomorrow. Will keep you notified. Ciao!
December 10, 2014 at 5:47 pm #220059Took this exam today and passed with 60%. Did the exam in 1 hour. Took the ENG variant. I can safely say that I prefer this style of exam compared to the old paper version which appeared very intimidating to me. I would highly suggest covering all the topics on this site and if you study with Kaplan, like I did, make sure you cover everything in the notes as I’m pretty sure all topics came up for me in the multiple choice. The 5 6 mark questions will give you a scenario and from that you have 3 2 mark questions to answer, so basically multiple choice. Subjects I were given for these multi task questions included exclusion clause in a contract, formation of a company, an employment question based on employee and employer, breach of director duty and repayment in liquidation. I had a multiple choice on human rights within a court decision so make sure that is revised. All I can say is just cover every single area so you can be confident in choosing your answer. I hope this helps and good luck to everyone with their studies!
December 10, 2014 at 7:08 pm #220079I passed. Got 59%. At first I found it hard but tried answering, flagged and kept going back to questions. I got on fradulent n wrongful trading n on transportation and payment. Everyone gets different questions. Some might be similiar but not all. I got obiter dicta and value in pledge or value pledge.
