Passed today! 60% The wording of the questions made it feel harder than Kaplan and open tuition practice questions. (The examiners clearly want to make sure you know the theory not just the answer) a huge thank you to open tuition for getting me this far

Passed it two days ago with 73% thanks to opentuition but still found the exam much harder than expected. It seems more practice is needed on questions besides what opentuition provides and the BPP learning media Practice & Revision Kit

    Mughnil,

have you tried the online acca practice tests? when you look at the answers they show you a breakdown of your performance in each syllabus area, so you know which area to advise.

Also use the chapter tests on this website, they will show you what you need to revise and also help clarify keep concepts in your mind. Note down the answers to the questions that you get wrong.

Also I recommend the flash cards on this site, again to clarify what you are getting wrong.

What I found from the exam was the questions were testing conceptual understanding rather than methodology. So try and note down the reasons for doing things.

I passed with 83%. thanks to opentution. The exam is easy but I think I spent too much time on study text and theory. Practice is far much important. Now I am going to start F2 and for this time I will more concentrate on revision kit and other practice resources.

Passed with 63%. My exam was more theory based than practical. I would say about 60:40. Make sure you absolutely know your debits and credits, as they throw a lot of those twisters at you.
