Aditya: I would suggest, practice past questions.
Take the online ACCA specimen CBE exam (https://specimen.accaglobal.com/Assignments/F2_FULL/ACCA.html) & opentuition online mock exam; buy any one of the ACCA approved publisher revision kit (if you don’t have already) and practice the questions. Also go through the lectures of the topics that you are weak in. Hopefully you will get through this time. Good Luck!

Passed today with 67% – so relieved!! I got completely confused on one of the long questions on investments etc. But I found the short questions very straightforward. I bought the practice exams on ACCA and found them a lot trickier than the real exam. At 8pm last night I finished my last practice exam with a score of 35%!! So don’t let these disheartened you. Practice, practice, practice from your revision book!
I’ve F4 next – but I’ll start after Xmas. Best of luck everybody & most importantly thank you John for your brilliant notes & lectures!

Passed today this was my last ever exam after many fights acca would not allow me an exemption., has taken me 9 years cannot say I enjoyed the experience. I am signing out now open tuition was a brilliant resource, the tutors were excellent. For all you budding accountants, I pity you all……it’s a long long winding road.

    Good day everyone,

i would like to say a big thank you to open tuition. i am very happy to say i passed – 58%

Now with such an experience, i would make a conscious effort to make time ti study everyday. That way I would make a better mark.

The lectures of F2 really contributed significantly and would like to say again
thank you for everything. God bless you.

So, what helped me when I wrote it this December was that when I was taking the lectures, I would pause once a question is given and try to solve it first based on knowledge from the previous chapter or a similar question from that chapter. Some chapters have like 2-3 examples, so that helped a lot.
Then I always tried to read about the topic before listening to the lecture. That way, I would have an idea of what the lecturer was talking about and could attempt questions. I know this helped me greatly because despite the fact I almost missed the exam by more than 1 hour, I was still able to pass, with all the stress, tension and fear of not getting the chance to write it again.
Then of course, there is the grace of God. It has helped me greatly.

I wrote F2 CBE in December and I passed with 52%. I believe I could have done better because I prepared better than I did for F1, but I had a very rough day and rough time getting to the exam venue that I could have missed the exam completely.
I only studied with Open Tuition lecture notes and videos and then ACCA mock exam.
    Thanks to Open Tuition.
    All glory to God.

    Hye Admin,

This is Khurram Zarar, a Pakistani national, currently working as financial manager in Khartoum Sudan.

Had F2 and F3, Paper based in December 2016, (being my first attempt)
Prepared myself from Provided Lectures from open tuition, and practiced BPP revision kit, also took specimen exam purchased from ACCA, and mock exam provided by open tuition.
I am working full time so have to prepare for exams in night.
while attempting had issues regarding time management, and ended up attempting 85 marks from F3 exam and 80 marks from F2 exam, but what I attempted had my full attention, and did not get panic for part, which even I did not able to read, and also no time to recheck.
Alhamdulillah got 79 marks for attempted 85 marks of F3, and 73 marks for attempted 80 marks of F2.
Sharing this all, to appreciate all the sincere efforts, which open tuition team has put in and maintained. Specially I need to mention Sir John Moffat, he is so brilliant in delivering what is required, and I admire him first as a teacher and then as a human being for creating a platform, so coruscating that it self reflects him as a person.
I thank you sir for all your efforts, and really appreciate your work, and will cash any opportunity I get to meet you, and to personally convey you the blessings, I feel for you and your work.

    Best Regards,
