    Hey guys,
I just graduated with a Bachelors in Accounting. When I check the ACCA exemptions calculator, I see that I am exempted from the first 4 papers of ACCA.
Keeping that in mind, I signed up and registered with ACCA on the 9th if this month and today I have received an email that basically says that I am officially a student of ACCA and I am free to start studying for the F papers but I haven’t received anything regarding the exemptions.

I am extremely confused and frustated now!

Am I exempted from the first 4 papers like the exemption calculator says so?
When or How long will it take for ACCA to confirm my exemptions?

My second query is, on the exemption calculator it says that graduates from my university are exempted from 5 papers if they have graduated in 2016, but this is not applicable to graduates of 2018, Why am I not entitled to 5 exemptions if I completed all the same exact courses the graduates of 2016 did?

Is it worth emailing ACCA and asking about it?

sorry for the long thread and thank you

Yes you should ask Acca about this directly. They will surely help you in resolving this issue.

    Are you checking from here:
    https://www.accaglobal.com/an/en/footertoolbar/contact-us.html

As far as i have experienced the web chat is not available all the time… I dont know about the specific time.. But from what I have noticed they are available really early in the morning or late at night (that’s according to the UK time). This is something i have noticed… Not necessarily that it is always the case.

If you want an immediate response try calling them on a toll free number.

But looking at your matter… they may ask you to drop them an email in either case.

    Hope this helps.
