Hello Everyone ..

I cant seem to find it on the ACCA website ..But would like to know if anyone else has any updates about this ??
Thanks ..p.s yes it may be old news but i just found out now and would like to know more about it

December 19, 2013 at 8:01 am #153183well thats what my lecturer also mentioned in class,
apparently it won’t be applicable to asian countries ( not sure )December 19, 2013 at 8:18 am #153184not until 2015. 2014 will just see June and Dec sessions.
December 19, 2013 at 8:50 am #153186Certainly in 2014 the exams will only be in June and December.
It is not certain yet about 2015.
However, F4 will be available as CBE in the second half of 2014 (and the intention is for all F exams to eventually be available as CBE at some stage. Then maybe they will be available on demand (as F1, F2 and F3 are now).

December 19, 2013 at 2:56 pm #153206Alright ..
Thanks you all ! for replying 🙂December 19, 2013 at 3:01 pm #153207@ john muffat :
im sorry then why would she make this announcement ?
: /December 19, 2013 at 3:51 pm #153208I have not read anywhere that she has confirmed a date for the introduction of four sessions a year. I certainly will not be in 2014.
She has confirmed that they are on track to start making changes in 2014, but that does not include having four exam sessions a year. Here is a quote from her:
“In addition, we propose adding the Global and English variant of Paper F4, Corporate and Business Law, to our suite of on-demand CBEs. The CBEs will include objective tests (OTs) and multi-task questions (MTQs). We are targeting September 2014 for the launch of Paper F4 by CBE.
We will then look to introduce additional sessions using a combination of CBE and paper for the remaining Fundamental and Professional level papers. We are working on the timescale for this change but we have committed to giving all our key stakeholders at least 12 months’ notice of any changes being introduced.”
As you will read, there will be 12 months notice of any change to the exam sessions, and no notice has been given yet 🙂
December 20, 2013 at 8:48 am #153216hey i do understand what your saying but anyways
this is what was on Linked..
indeed its 9 months old but its there..
please check it out ..December 20, 2013 at 8:57 am #153218Oh I had read that already 🙂
PQ Magazine misquoted her – she never confirmed it for 2014. What she actually said is what I quoted above.
There are only two exam sessions in 2014 – June and December (plus CBE on demand for F1, F2, F3 – and F4 in the second half of the year).
December 20, 2013 at 9:55 am #153220Alright Thank you so much 🙂
December 25, 2013 at 6:50 am #153439Sucks, because we’ll be hopefully done by the time the 4 sessions scheme kicks in!!!
February 20, 2014 at 6:08 pm #159597This is the latest from the ACCA:
“we are looking to introduce additional paper-based exam sessions for those exams not available by on-demand CBE, namely Papers F5-F9 and Papers P1-P7, and this is likely to be four exam sessions per year (March, June, September, December). Introducing extra paper-based sessions requires substantial changes to our processes and systems and will take us some time to implement so, while we are targeting late 2015/early 2016, we need to progress the plans further before we can provide an exact date.”
October 2, 2014 at 6:49 am #203186Hi All,
I received this update on 01st Oct 2014 from ACCA Student Accountant news alert which appeared in the Editors choice section.
“As a direct response to feedback from students, ACCA will be introducing four paper exam sessions, starting with a staged approach in September 2015. From 2016 you will be able to take your exams in March, June, September and December, meaning that you can choose the ACCA journey that suits you.”
I am pretty excited to know this and seems like we will get the details of the changes by ACCA soon.

mohsinOctober 7, 2014 at 9:19 am #203711Agree with Mohsin…. I also got the same update.
December 17, 2014 at 5:10 pm #221005Means the change in exam sessions will be applicable as from 2016 not 2015?
December 17, 2014 at 8:19 pm #221018Pilot session in September 2015 in major markets in selected examination centres, to be followed by move to four sessions a year in 2016.
December 21, 2014 at 5:39 am #221207Hello. I wish to enquire further details regarding the September 2015 exam sitting.
1. Is the September 2015 sitting applicable for retakes only?
2. According to the website, it’s mentioned that the results for the September 2015 sitting would be released in October so I would like to know when will the results for the December 2015 sitting be released?
Thank you.
