hi guys just wanted to ask is it worth buying acca exam past papers of F3 for 14 pound on their official site ? I do have the kaplan and bpp book..but need more questions to practice.. Is the difficulty level similar to exam? Has anyone tried them?
January 22, 2019 at 1:45 pm #503013Yes definitely worth it if you need to practice more questions. The difficulty level is similar to the real exam.
January 22, 2019 at 2:33 pm #503021I brought the 3 exams for F2 and it really helped
January 29, 2019 at 12:28 pm #503575I bought the 3 exams & they are well worth it, the difficult level is similar to exam. Dont think I would have passed without them to be honest
A friend of mine went through the exam and screen-shotted each question, then at least you can go back through them in your own time & work out the solutions etc, that is also very handyFebruary 25, 2019 at 7:07 pm #506503does anyone notice that the CBE Exam is way harder than the 3 mock exam papers. i got 52,54 and 54 in the 3 of them and got 65 in the mock exam on opentuition and then got 44 in the actual exam. i found that with F1 and F2 aswell, what do ye think?

However I did find the F4 exam harder than the mocks.
There is always an element of random chance with the questions you get in these CBEs. If you are getting 52 or 54 in mocks, you are not ready for the real exam. You should aim to be averaging 70% or higher to ensure you will pass the real exam.

You might pass it, you might not. You can retake it quite quickly, but you will have to pay again – it depends on if the fee is a lot of money to you. However, many employers prefer first time passes. So it’s probably best to study some more before taking it, as you clearly haven’t fully grasped all the concepts yet.
July 11, 2019 at 11:19 am #522582i am short of all the mocks now.. i have done all the mocks. so i can take 4 days and then give the paper? like practice all my mistakes and clear concepts more. will i pass?
July 11, 2019 at 11:34 am #522587Do you have an exam kit? If so, you can go back and do older questions in that, even if they are ones you already did. If not, I would recommend getting one as these contain a lot of questions to practice (just not in the format of a full mock exam).
Really you need to make sure you are learning from your mistakes. If you do a mock and get 60%, what are you doing after? Are you analysing each question you got wrong, and working out if it’s just a silly mistake or a gap in your knowledge, then working to correct that?
If you are learning from your mistakes each time, your performance will improve. I can’t tell you if you’ll pass though, as there’s an element of luck involved. The set of questions you get is random, and you might find them easy and score 80%, or you might find them hard and score 40%. There’s no guarantee, you just need to practice and revise as much as possible and give yourself the best chance possible.
