ACCA EXAM FEEDBACK SURVEY – September 2015

Hi All,
Please ensure that you fill in ACCA exam feedback survey. It would have been emailed to you by ACCA either today or yesterday. I usually ignore these emails but I feel this is probably the only way to make our voices heard. It only takes 10 minutes so please take the time out to do it.
I was quite blunt with my feedback and did mention that with the long MCQ’s and 5 questions in section B how do they expect us to complete the paper. Are they looking to develop strategic and Analytical thinkers with these exams or just half baked accountants who rush through information in order to get just over 50%. I don’t just wana get 50% in an exam, it doesn’t satisfy me. There’s a reason why CIMA has really overtaken ACCA in UK, and I work in the finance industry where ACCA should be dominating, but I can probably count on my fingers the number of people doing ACCA vs the overwhelming majority choosing CIMA.
I did suggest that perhaps format of the paper can change and have 4 questions in section B or maybe make Section A MCQ’s and Section B as 50% each.
