@diksha2108 – please REFLECT on the ethics of your post – or the irony of such a post on the EPSM forum. If you take a few minutes to read to posts on this or related threads you will see that the final assessment is quite doable.
All questions require the impact on net profit post change. Does it mean the difference between the calculated profit and the profit being calculated for each strategy

Good day, I am struggling with question 1. calculate the forecast net profit of Telford Engineering post exit (after MEXIT) assuming all staff who resign are replaced to the nearest $M‘000.
Especially (Assumption 9). Is it necessary to consider the effect of inflation on wages?@561bart – welcome to this forum! I think you will find helpful hints if you read through the comments on this post.

I have struggled with getting the correct answers to these question even though they are actually quite simple so this could be the one of the common error.
The question is actually just the EFFECT as in ‘ONLY the CHANGE’ in net profit after MEXIT. (I previously added 100 of the net profit to my calculation, which was wrong.)

Thanks so much! Nik’s answer on page 2 was super helpful and I was able to pass with 50% 🙂 I also recommend focusing on questions 3,4 and 5 as they are very easy – just calculate the change as stated in the question. Focus on the After MEXIT column and compare your answer – the net profit that you got after making the changes as instructed in the question to the original after MEXIT profit. This will be the final answer. I hope I was able to help without violating any ethical rules.

I think the wording in the question (unit 8: analysing the financial impact of the six strategic options) is somewhat ambiguous.
The question wants you to calculate the DIFFERENCE to the Net Profit after each of the six changes, and not the new net profit.
Even with English as my first language I think its poorly worded, so I think it must be pretty unclear for some who have English as a 2nd or 3rd language. Hope this helps
